CMS College has a glorious tradition and the present generation of the English Dept, in particular, has once again maintained the lofty standards and kept the banner afloat with this novel venture. It was a pleasant surprise. Never knew Cinny, Jakob or Ditto could act this well !!! Kudos to the entire teaching faculty of the English Dept- the actors, the narrators and the director for the great teamwork. It was an audio- visual treat with credible performances and seamless transition scene-wise. The dream/ hallucination scene was brilliantly executed. The three main characters enacted by Prof. Jakob as Uncle, Dr. Cinny as the Aunt and Prof. Ditto as the nephew brought the characters to life admirably. Even the cook in her tiny role did well. The stage setting and props, the sound, camera & lighting arrangements were in synch and harmoniously blended to maintain the atmosphere of the play. I am sure this play has etched itself in the minds of the students and they have, undoudtedly gained a lot by watching their Professors enact the play. Great attempt. But in my personal critical opinion, one or two dialogues by Jacok and Ditto could do even better with voice modulation especially when exhibiting emotions like anger, fear or when asking question. Cinny's voice modulation was cool and composed. On the whole it was a very admirable effort...it is not so easy to memorise and mouth lengthy dialogues. But the ease in which the action of the play glided so smoothly and effortlessly speaks volumes of the tremendous hardwork and dedication that has gone into the making of the play which in turn has made it the great success it is.
Amazeballs... 😀 It is so wonderful to see the faculty being allowed the freedom to explore their talents beyond the classroom... Such an inspiration... CMS college and it's English department are truly blazing a trail...

Jacob....terrific !!!. On the stage, you always transform easily into your character and "steal the show". Only difference is that while we all were young, during school days, when on stage, you used to make the whole school laugh and fall off thier chairs and benches every weekend.Today you were serious. But then a good actor should be flexible doing comedy and character alike. That was a good show.The whole team especially deserves appreciation especially Officer Philip. I would like to see you in the outfit of a Shakesperean character...👍
