I often wondered after listening to the song and after the spirit touches your heart, how could you ever deny Christ and deny that loving feeling from our Savior all the time.
I am a believing member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My experience has been that there are many, many beautiful followers of Christ in other Christian faiths. I love them and find that in these last days we need to stand together, focusing on our similarities instead of opposing one another. Thank you Mike for your comment. It brought me so many tears as it reminded me of time when I was struggling in my Life and the Gospel was the only joy that made feel so happy...I miss those days. I was so involved with the Elder missionaries and I went with them to share the Gospel with people that wanted more information about the Church...

I bare testimony that he lives. I also bare testimony that after a lifetime of major trials that he answers prayer. Not always how we want him to, not always in the timely manner we would like but he does answer every prayer. He has blessed me with 4 children though I was not supposed to have any, trusted me with one of his special forever innocent children and given me joy in times where joy was hard to find. I so love my heavenly father and I adore this video and song.

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (May 11, Easter 4), we sang this as our Closing Hymn. However, it was to the tune, DUKE STREET, attributed to John Hatton. It is #619 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship. We also sang this as the Processional Hymn at my father's funeral.
And I stand with you 2 brother, the Lord speaks to us through the Holy Spirit at times of peace and serenity and in times of reflection. This music opens the spirit up to hear the promptings of our Heavenly Father. There is no place for loud hallelujahs and praise the Lord and even loud music. The Lord already knows what's in our heart. We must be humble and tune ourselves in, it's in this time that the Holy Spirit and our Angels can dwell right next to us. God Bless

But I still listen to this song when I hurt and need comfort just like I did as a teenager in high school. I still know He lives. The Savior has been my kindest friend. Sometimes all I can say in my prayers is, "please help me Father". Heavenly Father always lightens the pain and blesses me in sweet ways when I ask.

Hey I definitely understand where you're coming from, but embrace the beautiful rugged cross of our Redeemer. If it was not for the cross we would have no precious Passover Lamb and no place to cast our burdens upon...we can now nail our sin and worries to the cross.
