Interesting your times, I managed to inflate my HIKS 10.6” board in about 6/7 mins and my daughters 9” Dragon in just under 6 mins both yo 15 PSI
Only brought as a backup to leave in the car or if my daughter wanted her board to go with others.
Noisy yea, but it’s what you get for £30 (or even less)

Bought this pump yesterday on an impulse at Lidl. Came home and read reviews including your vid from last year’s Mistral version. Thought to myself - maybe they’ve fixed it for this year. Then your video from yesterday came up on my for-you! Safe to say it’s going back and I’ll check out something more appropriate

Yeah man, they are complete garbage I'm afraid. I reviewed both of them and they both had their issues. Checkout my sup pump play list, plenty to look through there.

Only takes 7-10 mins to do it by hand haha alot more quiet and a good warm up before getting out there

A lot of people either can't be bothered with hand pumps or want the warm up when out on the water 😀

Got one today, ran it off a 100ah battery . So took 13.5 minutes to pump to 20 psi on a 13.6 red voyager.

sounds like you got lucky then, this is the 2nd one I've tested now. Still slow but it is only £30 I guess.

My airbank puffer pro melted on first use last Friday and is now a paperweight. Saw this in lidl but won't go for it

Surprised the Puffer Pro died bud, still have mine and going strong months later and it's been abused. Maybe a bad one and you got unlucky.
As for the Lidl one, they are complete junk, so damn bad. Last years was designed all kinds of wrong and this years is even worse.
I've had alot of success with the Outdoor Master Cachalot 2S, check out my review on it. It's my main pump now, quiet and quick.

I have very similiar experience. I needed tu pump my board to 18 psi. Till 16 it went quite ok, but then the pressure started to decrease due to leaking inside the pump. Second time I used it, it was not able to reach more than 10 psi. I also had the previous type, which worked just fine - but only for 1 season. Next summer it was only able to run in low preasure mode and could not switch to high preasure. Big dissapointment:-(

Not a good pump at all, so many alternatives for not a lot more money too

Tested mine and ut bkew uo the board in less than 10 mins to full pressure. Onky issue is gauge reads 5psi over but can deal with that by going 5psi over target pressure (20psi to hit 15psi).
Connextor does get hot but so will any pump that draws 2 amps.

Main issue with mine was the unit itself leaked. Way hotter than the other pumps drawing around 5 amps as well.

My expensive oceanmaster broke last weekend on our monthly river clean up, saw this in lidl and thought why not. 3 year warranty. Tried it last night and its not good. Didnt read the pressure at the start for at least 4 minutes then switched to second pump phase and just took forever to get to 20psi. I also swapped out the air hose and used my oceanmaster one. Worked a little better but pump still poor.

Hi there. I've had better results from a cheap unbranded one off Amazon for £40. These pumps won't last but I won't be holding onto mine long enough to find out as it's so slow :)

So for a SUP this is pretty poo..... However for £30 is it going to be ok for my Airbeam tent instead of the stirrup pump I've got that does my back every time?

      @Dreadysays 4 дня назад +1

I wouldn't even say it was up to that job, mine was faulty and it's a common fault with them. I don't expect they would lasting even putting up an air beam a couple of times a year.
I would go for something a little more expensive and having a battery built in helps. I do my Vango air awning with the outdoormaster cachalot 2s.
I will be publishing a mega comparison video in the next couple of weeks.
