Oh Yvonne! I know what that first piece of old wood was used for!! I have two of these, but mine are not as angled at the top. Mine are rounded. They were my Dad’s and I cherish them. He used them in his young adult life to stretch small animal skins and then to trade for things he needed. I am seventy five years old and Dad passed in 2011 at 92 yrs of age. I have thought and thought what I could do with mine. I squealed this morning when you showed this! You are on my tv presently and I just had get you on my iPad to say THANK YOU SO MUCH! I have spindles on my back deck I need to clean a little to do my project. I just love you so much. Even more now that I see this used in a beautiful way. Guess what……I have never made a book stack either, may have to give that a try too! You and Chris are pure inspiration! Nana Brenda

I love the oil cans! To move your image 90 degrees, (or whatever angle you want). You can click inside the dialogue box, where the arrows are, and type in 90.
Love all your projects today! The book stack is awesome. Your creativity knows no bounds! When you showed the board and spindles, I thought it looked like a mini ironing board 😂 that you could put one of those old irons on! That would be a little too basic. But the cross is much more inspirational! As always thanks for sharing your talent!❤
I don't know if anyone has commented on this yet but you said if you find a font you like you can never find it again. Well as long as you type out a word with it on your canvas, when you are on the font selection box right under the X at the top right is the word recent. Open that tab and all your recently used fonts are listed under there. It was a game changer for me when I found this out!! I didn't have to remember font names anymore!

On the cross piece I would have turned the handle the other way so you could have put a rosary in there. But good imagination❤

This was a great video!! The first board you added the cross to is called a skinning board. Yep that’s what it was used for !

The book stack is the prettiest one I have seen.I got my bandanas in today to do the sunflower wreath. Now I need to find that decoupage paper. I finally found a swan. Had to paint it but I love it!! You are creating a crafting monster.😂😂

I love all of your ideas for projects. I use a stencil vinyl for circuit that works really well without bleed through when you use the decoupage.

The first "piece of wood" is a fur stretcher. Usually, judging by the size, rabbit or muskrat. They come larger for groundhogs, etc.
