Rosberg isn't the dead weight in the team, it's that power unit yet again failing on you when you need it the most. Think S3 you should retain Niko but end this horrible relationship with the Renault engine and like your rivals Mclaren and Merc join them with a Merc Power Unit. Niko probably would of finished better if Danny didn't Yeet him in Q1.

Tbf, where his car is, he wouldn't be challenging for the title if he did 100% races. Getting a free 20 seconds per race helps against the AI tremendously...

Australian Grand Prix as the season finale, two Australian drivers fighting for the title, one driving for an Australian team, one Australian leads the race while the other goes way down the order, the Australian leading retires, the Australian down the order fights back to P5, the Australians tie on points and the Australian who retired from the lead of his home Grand Prix in the season finale loses the championship by a tiebreak.
Not a single person in Australian would not have their eyes glued to their television. Ben doesn’t script his career mode but somehow has a finale more climactic than anything that anyone could possibly write.
Unbelievable.

I say keep Rosberg. He has been pretty good all season. It would also just be odd to sign Ricardo after this race… First he takes Rosberg out and then takes the WDC away from you. Looks to me like he has more negatives with MM than positives

I have my doubts that Daniel is the right signing for next season and beyond but if you don't get him, it will bug you a lot. 😄
I say keep Rosberg. I don’t think you want him going against you in another team, especially if he moves to Mclaren after you drop him. He’s had some pretty good results for it being season 2. better than most teammates you’ve had in the past
edit: didn’t know rosberg couldn’t switch teams, but my point still stands that his performances were great. How many past teammates of Ben can we say have gotten a win in season 2?

What a season, im pretty sad at the moment but i think we have to accept that the only reason ben was in the fight at all was because of front wing breaking and people pitting unnecessarily because of it, i think this will just make the team stronger

Really like having Australia as the final race. For your teammate, I think you should think about upgrading the car more. If you don't have the money to sign Ricardo and upgrade your facilities, you should keep Ros.

Facilities are empty, scattered office lights and high leaders leaving after finishing paper work. Nothing but janitorial workers roam the halls. Awaiting Winter Testing

Sign Rosberg. He’s done everything you needed from a team mate. The performance index is why he isn’t always challenging but as soon as that goes up. He will be unstoppable

Considering you'll just be financially that much farther from having the right L3's early in S3 - spending an extra amount to buy out Ricc's contract is just self defeating. But self-defeating has been the basis of nearly every decision you've made since the teams inception.

Why don't you "sell out" or "sell part" of the team and rebrand it. Maybe as a VW brand maybe SAIC Motor "MG SAIC Motorsports" with a driver respective of who they might sign?

Also i think you could race 110 AI both in the race and in quali - you always go up in the race regardless of quali position (AI giving up positions a little to easily mind you), with superior car and being competitive in quali you're gonna easily win next season's drivers' championship :D
