To those complaining about her pots/pans, have you ever been in a chefs kitchen in a restaurant.....well guess what, most chefs pans/pots look the same way; serving their purpose to cook good good!

For your cold, drink ginger root, lemon and honey, it's kills a cold in a day. Use a normal sized drinking glass. Grate a heaping table spoon of ginger on the finest side of grater, put in your glass, squeeze a whole lemon in and fill the glass with very hot water, let it set for 15-20 minutes then add honey to taste. It's natural and knocks out that cold, I drink it every day it's Good for you. Thanks get better.

It’s so strange to me to hear people say that her food is not healthy. It’s perfectly fine. Nothing wrong with the food, perhaps just the indulgence. Her food is healthy guys! So, if that’s a fact then it comes down to portion size and going for seconds. So I’m gonna take a second to educate some of you with these helpful tips. Don’t have seconds, it’ll be there for you tomorrow for lunch. Don’t stretch out your stomach by overeating because it tastes good. It’ll be there for you tomorrow. If you stretch out your stomach you are going to be re-training your nervous system to not feel full and it will cause you to feel hungry and eat more. You have nerve sensors in your stomach that react to the stretching and give your brain signals due to that. There are also hormones that play a role in metabolism too. All of that can get changed. Then you will have to re-train it back to the original. So, for some people this information can be helpful but for some people they are on a journey when it comes to eating and health. So it may take time. Another trick is to play a game of calorie counting. After a while you get the nack of how many calories is in your food and you can plate according to that. So you can look up your BMI chart (body mass index) to get an idea of how many calories you need a day and then work with that, plus or minus because some days you are more or less hungry so eventually it balances. You can use soulful T’s recipes as a guidance and change it up how you’d rather do them saving calories here or there. But do realize your body needs some fat. There are charts you can look up on percentages of fat, protein and carbohydrates that your body needs. Once you learn those, you can plate according to that. Good luck guys on your journey and happy eating and healthy living! You can have your cake and eat it too. Say you want a piece of pie, then you would scale down your dinner and just eat a chicken breast and a vegetable. Checks and balances. Or, just smaller portions. It can be worked out and you don’t miss out.

My mother on law's stuffing was the bomb. Homemade biscuits and cornbread tore into pieces, boil turkey giblets, hard boiled eggs. Cook your onion and celery and combine into mix with cut up cooked giblets, cornbread, biscuits, sliced hard boiled eggs, broth from giblets and additional turkey broth. Salt, pepper and sage. Bake.

Shelley Thomas That's extra virgin olive oil. Best for dips, salads, etc. Yellow olive oil SOMETIMES has other oils added. But usually, it's just virgin olive oil, which is best for cooking.

I agree about the beat up pots. The only thing I wouldn't use the ones with the scratch Teflon and not because of looks. The Teflon leaks into your food and that causes cancer. Other than that, I love me some beat up dishes.
I am going through all of your videos you are the best cook on RUclips! I am the cook in my family too and love comparing notes with your recipes to mine. You are giving me great ideas to try out. I always made my collards with beef stock and bacon so I had never seen them done with butter, definitely giving that a try...I fry my smothered chicken so loving his you did that in the oven so much easier!!My mom makes homemade cranberry sauce with wine for the liquid and white sugar for the sweetener and then a dash of Orange juice and orange zest. Seeing that we always have some wine around at Thanksgiving it's an easy recipe...Scallop potatoes i always mixed in a big mix bowl the potatoes, flour, milk and grated cheese then just baked the mixture at 350. It comes out nice but I was really loving the look of yours with that cheese sauce though, I am definitely making that!My green beans i make the same way those are too good! The other way I have made them is chicken broth with lemon pepper, those are good too. Anyway so glad I discovered your channel i am loving all your great ideas!!!!! Thank you!!!!

I will be making a couple of Ms.SoulfulT's recipes for my thanksgiving table ...she makes it all look so easy, so I'm now more confident cooking different stuff now, soooo...I'm making her cornbread (yall please make this, it's too good)..I'm going to make two pans of it to use for my stuffing....these gorgeous looking scalloped cheesy potatoes (I'm gonna throw in a handful of fresh chopped up chives instead of the onions in mine) ....the stewed string beans (I always throw a can of diced tomatoes in mine with a chopped up yellow onion), im gonna try my hand at making the homemade pie crust for my sweet potato pies...and of course that "FAMOUS Macaroni and Cheese" (don't need to do NOTHING to that!!!)...Come on Thursday! To those complaining about her pots/pans, have you ever been in a chefs kitchen in a restaurant.....well guess what, most chefs pans/pots look the same way; serving their purpose to cook good good!

For your cold, drink ginger root, lemon and honey, it's kills a cold in a day. Use a normal sized drinking glass. Grate a heaping table spoon of ginger on the finest side of grater, put in your glass, squeeze a whole lemon in and fill the glass with very hot water, let it set for 15-20 minutes then add honey to taste. It's natural and knocks out that cold, I drink it every day it's Good for you. Thanks get better.

It’s so strange to me to hear people say that her food is not healthy. It’s perfectly fine. Nothing wrong with the food, perhaps just the indulgence. Her food is healthy guys! So, if that’s a fact then it comes down to portion size and going for seconds. So I’m gonna take a second to educate some of you with these helpful tips. Don’t have seconds, it’ll be there for you tomorrow for lunch. Don’t stretch out your stomach by overeating because it tastes good. It’ll be there for you tomorrow. If you stretch out your stomach you are going to be re-training your nervous system to not feel full and it will cause you to feel hungry and eat more. You have nerve sensors in your stomach that react to the stretching and give your brain signals due to that. There are also hormones that play a role in metabolism too. All of that can get changed. Then you will have to re-train it back to the original. So, for some people this information can be helpful but for some people they are on a journey when it comes to eating and health. So it may take time. Another trick is to play a game of calorie counting. After a while you get the nack of how many calories is in your food and you can plate according to that. So you can look up your BMI chart (body mass index) to get an idea of how many calories you need a day and then work with that, plus or minus because some days you are more or less hungry so eventually it balances. You can use soulful T’s recipes as a guidance and change it up how you’d rather do them saving calories here or there. But do realize your body needs some fat. There are charts you can look up on percentages of fat, protein and carbohydrates that your body needs. Once you learn those, you can plate according to that. Good luck guys on your journey and happy eating and healthy living! You can have your cake and eat it too. Say you want a piece of pie, then you would scale down your dinner and just eat a chicken breast and a vegetable. Checks and balances. Or, just smaller portions. It can be worked out and you don’t miss out.

My mother on law's stuffing was the bomb. Homemade biscuits and cornbread tore into pieces, boil turkey giblets, hard boiled eggs. Cook your onion and celery and combine into mix with cut up cooked giblets, cornbread, biscuits, sliced hard boiled eggs, broth from giblets and additional turkey broth. Salt, pepper and sage. Bake.

Some people don't like the robust green olive oil that comes out during the first few presses during processing; that's why there's light olive oil which tastes less strong and good for all recipes, but is still olive oil...
Shelley Thomas That's extra virgin olive oil. Best for dips, salads, etc. Yellow olive oil SOMETIMES has other oils added. But usually, it's just virgin olive oil, which is best for cooking.

My grandmother from the south use to cook like that .We loved visiting Granpa and her because all 12 of us always had something to eat at Grandpa and Grandma house. I agree about the beat up pots. The only thing I wouldn't use the ones with the scratch Teflon and not because of looks. The Teflon leaks into your food and that causes cancer. Other than that, I love me some beat up dishes.
I am going through all of your videos you are the best cook on RUclips! I am the cook in my family too and love comparing notes with your recipes to mine. You are giving me great ideas to try out. I always made my collards with beef stock and bacon so I had never seen them done with butter, definitely giving that a try...I fry my smothered chicken so loving his you did that in the oven so much easier!!My mom makes homemade cranberry sauce with wine for the liquid and white sugar for the sweetener and then a dash of Orange juice and orange zest. Seeing that we always have some wine around at Thanksgiving it's an easy recipe...Scallop potatoes i always mixed in a big mix bowl the potatoes, flour, milk and grated cheese then just baked the mixture at 350. It comes out nice but I was really loving the look of yours with that cheese sauce though, I am definitely making that!My green beans i make the same way those are too good! The other way I have made them is chicken broth with lemon pepper, those are good too. Anyway so glad I discovered your channel i am loving all your great ideas!!!!! Thank you!!!!

Everything looks so delicious! I will be making a couple of Ms.SoulfulT's recipes for my thanksgiving table ...she makes it all look so easy, so I'm now more confident cooking different stuff now, soooo...I'm making her cornbread (yall please make this, it's too good)..I'm going to make two pans of it to use for my stuffing....these gorgeous looking scalloped cheesy potatoes (I'm gonna throw in a handful of fresh chopped up chives instead of the onions in mine) ....the stewed string beans (I always throw a can of diced tomatoes in mine with a chopped up yellow onion), im gonna try my hand at making the homemade pie crust for my sweet potato pies...and of course that "FAMOUS Macaroni and Cheese" (don't need to do NOTHING to that!!!)...Come on Thursday!
