(I do love Christmas just as much tho too :D) Your basically me and my Mom when we're cooking / baking it always turns out good in the end but man am I messy XD so "Lets just hope we don't get chocolate all over the house" is so me XD. Even if stuff doesn't turn out well, you tried and thats all that counts! But you did epic! So great job!
Can you try Colombian food? Plantain chips are the best there is is this dessert I forgot the name of that I personally hate there are many different types of dishes like ajiaco and arepas are basically thick corn pancakes they are really good with cream cheese and real Colombian tamales are so good whenever I go there for Christmas I always eat them on Christmas morning

Great job! Hint: use the paddle attachment for making butter cream. It works better in my opinion and way easier to get more butter cream out of it.

When making buttercream icing it's easier to use the paddle attachment. It turns out fine using it.
