      I don't think so, the grey base tint has a touch of rose which will help with reading the contours and the trail without too much trouble and the lighter VLT will help with navigating the shaded areas.

    Ok, so i'm about to purchase a pair of oakley's for mtb hopefully today or tomorrow and was just curious. Will the Oakley Flak 2.0 XL in Dark Golf work well for mtb? I ask because trail lenses dim out greens while enhances reds and browns, while golf enhances greens, however, when I tried both the trail torch and dark golf on at an outlet, they seemed almost identical. Would another lens be better? Hoping for something I can ride in, but also where casually on hikes or driving. Thanks

      Great question! We've been fortunate enough to test the Radar EV Path in dry, dusty trail conditions and it proved very effective at keeping debris and air particles out of one's line of sight. The vents only helped at reducing fog buildup on the backside of the lens, from what we could tell. Try 'em out! 👉www.sportrx.com/oakley-radar-ev-path.html 🔥

    Picked up the Crossrange XL in Prizm Road. I have a medium sized head, but like the.extra lens coverage of the XL. We don't ride in the wet in N. TX, so most riding days are usually sunny. We'll see how dark the Prizm Road do in the overcast tomorrow. The Prizm Trail and Trail Torch are lighter, but the Prizm Road seems better as a out the door, drive and ride everyday lens. Thx for the great info. 👍

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear 3 года назад +1

      Hi Adam! The PRIZM 24K (VLT= 11%) lens will be darker than PRIZM Trail Torch (VLT=35%). 24K features a bronze base so you will still get some contrast but not nearly as much as Trail Torch. If you want to find something in between the two, PRIZM Road (VLT=20%) might be a good option because it still has that rose base for enhanced contrast but it isn't as dark as 24K. VLT is the visible light transmission and is measured by the % of light that passes through the lens to your eyes. Higher VLT % means a lighter tint lens and lower VLTs are found in darker lenses. You can explore Sutro lens options here: www.sportrx.com/oakley-sutro.html Learn more about PRIZM here: www.sportrx.com/blog/oakley-prizm-prescription-lenses/ AND contact one of our certified opticians for more help here: www.sportrx.com/contact Thanks so much for checking out our video!

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear 4 года назад +1

      Hi there! PRIM Trail Torch has a VLT of 35% and PRIZM Road has a VLT of 20%. VLT is visible light transmission. This means Road is darker which may help you make your decision. They will both work well though!

    Which color of the sutro is the best for mtb, and about the fog in a humidity weather how is the sutro performance?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear 4 года назад +1

      There is not a perfectly ideal lens for MTB, unfortunately. The best lens available would be Prizm Ruby because it's very contrast-enhancing and lets the most light through, aside from Prizm Road. As for fogging, the Sutro may not be the absolute best, but would be better than a lot of what is out there. The lens size means more volume, which means it's tougher for moisture to build up on the lenses, which is what fogging is. That definitely helps!
