Hi Luc very insteresting as usual. If you have many Japanese equipement, you might be interested in buying JIS screwdriver instead of philips. The pitch is sligtly different. You may save some screw from stripping. Thanks Looking forward to the next video.
No, but there's an episode on it. A lot of people have had issues. Lots have bought the Honda one for a huge savings or actually go electric. You can remove and oil it to try and free the mechanism.
Merci Luc! This is my first time changing the oil after one season used. I intend to change the oil myself and your video his very useful. I have a little question please; What means 150 inches pound please? As you can see i am very novice in mechanic!
It is a torque value, I'm not sure if that's what you were wondering? It is how tight the bolt is tightened. Or are you wondering what inch pounds means in foot lbs or newton meters?
@@lucgallant I got it and made it perfectly because of your precious video. In fact i did refer to the little green mark on the nut to make sure it was tioght enough. Many thanks!
The debates on oil are endless. I have no reason not to use those oils, I have used Royal purple in the past. Yama lube is made by Yamaha in the snowblower is made by Yamaha so an easy choice not to overthink. It is a basic small engine and hundreds of oils will work.
@@lucgallant Thanks! I tried posting the link to the one that would closest resemble yours, but I think RUclips automatically deleted it. Its from Torque Products Canada and is model 2002 MRMH.
@@Nathan-ho6jv just checked it out, the torque range is the same as mine the only thing for me is I like working a quarter inch scale. For example the 200NMRMHSS. The smaller head often allows reach in tighter spaces. But I don't think there's anything wrong with this one just that consideration.
Hi .. I have a question regarding the LED light on my Yamaha 624, the light comes on but is very dull, really no light hardly at all, I replaced the battery, would I need to replace the light or should I look for something else. Thanks
thanks, this is very helpful because I have to do it today for the first time. Thanks from St. John's, NL.
I love you man! Thank you for all the tutorials!

Agreed on that, I do have some JIS. For this big screw the fit from the giant Mastercrap is actually quite good.
I am referring to your channel for future maintenance on my new 6\24 Yamaha snowblower. It is nice to know the torque specs🖖
You are the MVP! thanks a lot. I have the same pressure washer than you and if you make videos about maintaining it I will sure be interested! keep up
Yamaha should send you a free snow blower and some goodies for making this series. It definitely made an impact on my decision to buy one.
Hey I'm back here again. Going to change the oil today. Super helpful to have this video.
Thanks. Merci 👍🏻❄️✨
Have you ever had a issue with the stability shock in the back ? I have a new 6-24 & about to change it for a second time.

Thanks for the video. Why the Yamalube? Do you have any reason for a person to not use Amsoil or R.P. Etc? Thanks.

Do you ever plan on doing a video on changing the transmission fluid (( hydrostatic))
Posted one!
Merci 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😃
Great video. What torque wrench do you use for the small inch lb use?

Checkout CDI as they make Snap On Torque Wrenches.

Check the voltage at the light when running. Should be 12vdc.
@@lucgallant ok thanks
@@lucgallant hi again and thanks, Just check the voltage.. it’s reading 16 17 ?
@@geraldgreene5563 seems high, when the unit is not running and the key is on, should read the battery voltage...
@@lucgallant ok thanks, I’ll test it with Just the key on? Maybe I need a new light
