- Silk Plaster is a liquid wallpaper that doesn't require matching prints at the seams like traditional wallpaper. It's made up of a combination of cotton fibers, decorative mineral additives, and adhesive glue. To apply the wallpaper, add water to the dry mixture, then spread it onto the walls or ceilings using a trowel. The wallpaper comes in over 100 colors and can be easily patched for repairs.

Liquid Wallpaper Can Be Applied In Seconds
I love how they say it’s less tedious then wallpaper then go on to show complex pictures that would have taken forever to do.
this is so ghetto
That's the point. You wouldn't find pictures like that on a wallpaper so you'd like it more because it's something you wanted and not a generic wallpaper photo.
“Applied in seconds”
And imagine you had 0 artistic talent and couldn’t pay someone
@@depressantdrug have you seen some of the intricate wallpapers they make today? My dad has an entire tropical island on his wall made out of wallpaper. This takes legitimate artistic talent. Which most people don’t have. Most of us would only end up having papier-mâché on our walls.
“It eliminates the need to line up images” lol ok but you have to Mortar the whole thing flat?
"You dony have to line up pictures like traditional wallpaper"

But at least it comes off with warm water 🙃
@@bipo819 that's the downside buddy with enough humidity and heat your walls would be dripping

My first thought: isn't that paint?
Nope. Paint is actually easy to apply, you just brush (or roll) it on.
This stuff requires a trowel and the perfect amount of pressure applied. To much and you have the wall showing through, not enough and you have big lumps.
@@rachmae4180 Yes. I paint, I'm quite aware what there is. Would you want to do an entire wall with a palette knife? and this stuff isn't oil paint, it's MUCH more coarse and thick. It acts as both acoustic and wetherizer and also you can hammer as much as nails as you want and no one can see them or the wholes if you decide to pull them out. Though like any other paint or wallpaper, through time it starts to get dirty and the colors fades a bit.

Joke's on you, this comment made the wallpaper even more appealing to me
@@shawn.spencer Fair enough. The 80’s to early 2000’s were cool.
"There's 100 colors, but we are going to keep showing you the one that looks like someone vomited up scrambled eggs"
The yellow one looks like the cheese in dairy of a wimpy kid

PFFFTTT
@@cumdaddy3 lmao
BAHAHAHAAHAHA
Now the mixer girl has cheese touch
It's like plastering your wall. I'm too lazy for this. I'll stick to peel and stick wallpaper and or paint.
And it melts off with warm water too. Like?!??
@@aureliaavalon I never spilled things on my wall, and if you can put it off with hot water, you can fix it.
Good for kids i guess, or just an alternative to wallpaper imo the paint looks good, better than an wallpaper alternztive would be
@@user-sg4ov7ng4h i see. i for one prefer the regular sticky wallpaper alternative-- since wiping clean dirty/dusty walls with a wet cloth could potentially be an issue that i don't want to revisit, and because i live in a warm tropical climate all year long.
Insider: Liquid Wallpaper!
Me: Isn’t that just paint?
I thought so too
The only reason I opened this video
No, that's called paint. This is liquid wallpaper. I have literally never seen a wallpaper that looks like paint.
That's what I said
I moved into an apartment where someone who had no business trying to make a wall mural, tried to with this stuff. The tackiest combo of powder blue, maroon-purple, hot and pastel pink, with a glittery white moon, and the thickest, chunky 3D clouds coming out of the walls, because she added glitter to some spackle. Idk how the landlord just missed that room but I was very surprised cuz the rest of the apartment had fresh paint and then I found that monstrosity. If it had been done well it would have been cool but it was such a diy gone wrong. I'd have moved n left it too lol.
ayo i think my childhood dentist had this as the floor of their fish tank
That's the single most specific and accurate analysis I've ever read
my nan had this as the floor of her fish tank too!
No one:
Literally no one:
RUclips: Wanna see liquid wallpaper being applied on walls for 2 minutes straight?
👁️👄👁️
I saw the title and was like: “Do you mean paint?”
"Liquid wallpaper"
"Sir, this is paint mixed with glitter"
"Yes, liquid wallpaper"
Exactly what I was thinking
I can here it “hello everyone this is your daily dose of internet”
yup
yup
yup
Is this a demon summoning?
Yup
I must admit the yellow one looks like someone squashed a banana on the wall and spread it around. This kind of thing is really cool but I personally wouldn't use it. No hate on the ppl who made this tho.
I was gonna say baby poo but your's is a bit better I guess
" Hello, I would like to order some scrambled eggs to paint my wall please."
I am LOVING the old doctors office from the 90s look
“In seconds.”
*Takes 1 hour to finish a wall.*
Paint goes on in seconds too, it just takes a minute to put it all on
Honestly, the mosaic-things were kinda cool.
So "repairing" is basically "covering stuff up with magical glitter"...? Huh, who knew... 🤷♂️
Little Misfortune called it 😂 'I m a little Lady!'
That isn't a liquid! It's a paste! Also speeding up a video doesn't count as fast application. Only positive I can say is I appreciate the creativity of the artists mixing paper pulp to decorate the walls.
They look awful to begin with, but imagine when the house gets humid.
And it is would smell like wet paper and glue...
This looks crazy beautiful BUT I want to see how easy a removal is. I'm just saying we are humans we change our minds like seasons loll
I feel like the removal would be too easy as in it wears off even when you don't want it to
This is easily the ugliest wall paper I’ve ever seen.
Not to mention putting up regular wallpaper isn’t super difficult, I honestly think it would be harder trying to put this stuff up smoothly and uniformly
I almost never change wallpaper: I just go with white and add a lot of decorative elements, or wall vinyl stickers
Dump a bucket of water on your wall and tadaa job done
“Hello everybody and this is your daily dose of internet”
I can hear it
A man of culture I see
I now have this stuck in my head
Shōyo Hinata *Points at you* I see a fellow Haikyuu fan!!! >:D
