Why have you guys not yet incorporated the Ventriloquist Dummy into the podcast? That character is one of Chris Haueter’s greatest ideas and he needs to be a regular guest on the show!

Mits Yamashita rented Aikido space from John Ogden in Long Beach. I learned some Judo from Ogden Judo and the same gym Mits taught at was the home dojo of the lead from the film Red Belt.

Thanks for sharing. It's so important to preserve history and Martial Arts history seems to fade so easily. 🙏

@@combatbase I want to clarify that the lead from Red Belt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, used Ogden dojo as the home gym in the film "Red Belt", not in real life.

Mr. Haueter, please tell me if Gracie JJ is all that people claim it is. I watched Ron Van Clief in UFC 4 lose to Royce. Van Clief had a tenth degree black belt and 40 years experience at that time and in about 5 seconds he was on the ground and helpless. Is Gracie JJ that good? I am looking to get into a good self defense oriented school and your answer is appreciated.

Thanks so much for the question! We are going to forward this to the podcast for an answer on a future episode. In the meantime......anybody else have any thoughts?
