Hi Noreen. This was a great easy recipe to use up my garden zuchinis. I used it with a can of sparkling water instead of beer, and pan fried them. But it was a hit. Thanks for the inspiration!

Who knew it was such a simple recipe! I love that touch of paprika! I saw the onion rings video and it was great. I can't tell you how many times my batter wouldn't stick. I think the onions must be very dry but your batter is the one that does the trick! As always, thanks Noreen!

I've used this batter numerous times for fish. It's so light and airy it's absolutely WONDERFUL! I was wondering. Do you think it would be good for fried green tomatoes? Love your videos! 💕

Beer batter is best on Onion Rings, Shrimp, and Fish > Chicken i use season flour only. I don't like a hard batter. I love it crispy. I dearly love the Cajun Seasons a little spicy

Yum! I rarely have beer in the house as I don't like it, but I don't mind a Redd's Apple Ale every now and again, so I might have to try this!

I have a question... are they crunchy? Normally i don't use beer in my batter so i am not familiar with what it does to the texture. I hope you guys really enjoyed your greasy spoon nights! (that is what we call them!) Thanks for another great vid!

Should be crunchy. The beer just adds a bit of airiness and flavor

This application is only for frying. Baking won't work for this. Unless you are just going for a big mess, then it will work out just great!

Alcoholics and people who abstain from alcohol for religious reasons do not even purchase beer. Regardless of whether or not the alcohol cooks out. It is always nice to have a non alcoholic option for those people.

I don't ever use self rising flour. I don't like it. I have no way of knowing how old it is or how active the BP may be. I don't know what type of baking powder they use, most likely the kind that has aluminum in it. Why buy SR flour when I always have flour and I always have baking powder? It is in my opinion a waste of money. Additionally, adding the fresh baking powder ensures a fresh product that will puff when fried. Also, there is not a tablespoon of BP in 2 cups of SR flour.

They were crunchy but not super crispy. If you want super crispy onion rings then you have to do another application. Not batter dipping.

Buttermilk is too heavy for a beer batter.

Way to much chatter, a waste of time, example who cares what beer you prefer! And trying to be cute with commentary is really not funny.
