I just purchased (three days ago) a ‘21 SR-VC in that stunning orange Sunset Drift color. It’s glorious for a sports sedan. I have a lot of plans for it because it’s sort of a sleeper IMO - just need time and money. Not saying it’ll smoke any car (it obviously won’t), but with cars against its weight class or around it… it’s stupid deceptive. It’s quick asf and actually has caught me by surprise. Oddly enough the other car I was thinking about purchasing was some sort of Mustang EcoBoost trim. Glad I stuck with my heart, though because I LOVE my VC Turbo. People wonder, “that’s an Altima?!” Some other people have mentioned it, but it really does have the soul of the GT-R. Like a little hatchling.
Congrats bro. Really this car it’s great, it’s the best Altima yet not only cause it’s a turbo but cause the cvt it’s better than the previous Altimas. It’s not the fastest but definitely have competition against other sedans or muscle cars like the mustang, or challenger or Camarillo, the basics thoe lol haha. But yes it does the soul of a GT-R. Subscribe to my channel and look at my other video where I install a Spacer for blow off valve saund, it doesn’t do any performance but it does helps the turbo a lot definitely recommend. Plus that sound you gonna love it

I like the VC turbo altima. Leased 2 of them in the past. It's got some turbo lag but not too bad. I prefer the Maxima the 3.5L v6 is an amazing engine that gets along well with the cvt. No waiting for boost it goes when you tell it to. More expensive but it feels better built. Nice video!
That’s weird because doesn’t the ecoboost have about 100hp and 80tq more? It’s only about a 300 lb curb weight difference. The only way is if the Altima is making the advertised power at the wheels like they do with the red sport q60’s
300lb it’s something trust me the less it weigh the faster the car, have you look at Chrisfix video on weight deduction ? But also remember the Altima has 246hp and a turbo

The altima is much quicker than the Maxima, my friends dad had the Maxima and it was quick but when we got the altima turbo the altima was much more faster

Ecoboost is way faster in every documented test. This was an automatic mustang with a driver that doesnt know how to put it in the right gear 1st. The nissan has a CVT so it doesnt downshift. Also is the worst transmission on the planet.

@@IAmHugoPerez and the altima only has 248 hp and 273 lb ft. torque. The 2.3L TT Mustang is a horrible build. Should have just kept the 3.7 V6, they were faster. My 2004 Maxima 3.5 and 2017 Altima 3.5 have both beaten any stock mustang ecoboost but the 2014 3.7L mustangs gave me a better race with both cars!
