This behind the scenes rare Michael Jackson footage features clips from Brazil featuring Oludum and the Prison Version. This footage is mainly based where Michael Jackson shot the "They Don't Care About Us" video in Salvador de Bahia and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. There is commentary from Spike Lee who directed both the prison and Brazil versions of Michael Jackson's TDCAU. 12:28 Yes! michael and all his guys went to two cities here in brazil to film this clip, the filming with "olodum" was filmed in the city of salvador, in the state of bahia, and the filming, with michael walking through houses in ""FAVELA"" with many fans on top of the slabs, etc., were recorded in the city of rio de Janeiro, in the favela Santa Marta, until today we remember these tourist spots because of this clip, great and always remembered michael jackson!

My favorite version is the Brazil version. The way how Michael is singing and especially his dance steps are so amazing, that I think, that there was never and there won't be any other dancer in the whole world who can dance like him. He is the lord of the dance! Nobody should even try! I heard that Michael had to pay a lot of money to the mafia of Rio/Brazil, so that he was allowed to film there. The other thing about this video is, that Evan Chandler tried his 2. attempt of extortion of money with this video. He said that the video was about him. The court rejected his claim. Michael is just the best, he looks so handsome in both videos, his dancing and singing skills are unbelievable great!!!!

If I remember correctly I think it was a simultaneous worldwide premiere on MTV. I do remember the hype and build up to the video There were VCR alerts everywhere!!! lol!!! Michael's videos were major events and if you got behind the scenes footage, man that was mind blowing. He is truly missed.

The prison stuff was supposed to be mixed in with the Brazil stuff for one video". By the way, fun fact, that copy of the Making Of ' you're watching came from my video recorder. lol I recorded it in my bedroom in 1996 in the UK. I shared it online mamy years ago. I think Michael was sleeping so very little and making the Videos was tougher on him then he displays working. I really feel that his Spritual Side is what drove him to continue to perform. He wasn't that strong in his last Days and dancing is very Physical to pull off. I want that Shirt too.

Funny you say you would have waited 12 hours because I've thought about it too and my issue is I don't have any resources to travel but I would have gone as far as to get a loan and begged a family member to travel with me and I would have slept in the street just to wait for him. I just wish I had not had 4 failed back surgeries and I would have had a better chance of maybe getting to see him from a distance but like everyone else lol I'm sure I would have gone to the ends of the earth and sleeping on concrete just to get somewhat close, it saddens me because of the number of fans who have been blessed to get a hug from him 😢 I know I'm not the only fan who missed out 😢
