- Scream 7 is likely only the beginning for Ghostface. The upcoming Scream Movie could set up future films but the studio definitely wants to do more.

@@nolaray1062 Chad, he can blame Sidney’s past the cause of him being stabbed several times which ruined his football playing career and got his sister stabbed. But idk who is even returning as of now.

That’s who I pictured Kirby to be , but I’m glad she turned out good and got to be part of Act 3 in Scream 6 , hopefully she will return for another movie. The killer is always a new character instead of a returning character, any of those returning would snap eventually and become the villain

Ya they moved off of Sidney and had one of the most successful scream Movies in the franchise lmfao. They didn't bring her back because scream 6 flopped smh. They clearly showed they don't need Sidney to have success.

@@FateDecided Successful? 😂😂 The stories were a MESS and the dumbest concept to date, also ticket sales to see Jenna Ortega and Melissa Barrera is the only reason you can even use that word " success". Just like GHOSTFACE said " Sam and Tera were too weak to lead the franchise"... And they ARE! Wheredeyat now??? Not on Scream 7, it's back to where it always was on Sidney. And the only reason she wasn't in 6 was because of pay. Go sat down uncle Otis. Scream is SIDNEY!

Scream could become an ip like Batman and Scooby-Doo. You could keep rebooting it with different actors. But the Sidney Prescott movies will always be my favorite, just like The Dark Knight Trilogy with Christan Bale are my favorite live action Batman movies.
Im down for as many Sidney movies as possible!
...Neve's back and Kevin Williamson is back. Firstly, I'm glad things have swung back. The newer films were missing the... whatever, that (...je ne sais quoi ) that the Craven films had. I would not have seen the next one, but I think you're right. They have an opportunity to do it right now. Kevin Williamson has something to prove, and I know he isn't going to copy himself! I hope he goes full STAB. Maybe a supernatural angle (aliens? No...). But maybe Ghostface gets away, Ghostface becomes the hero, taking down bad guys a la Dexter, or Terminator 2.... I don't know, but whatever happens, it will be NEW. The characters, like Sydney, will be aging, but the story arc will be new.... Let's hope.
Those kids will be the reason we get Scream 8…that’s just how I think about it

I hope, if Stu returns(which seriously is something, that can bring this serie to another level), he will be Cult of Fun Ghostfaces Killers leader, revealed to be inspiring anyone since 4th, maybe even included in 2nd and 3rd without their knowledge, leaving tracks and helping from 'behind scenes'.
Him doing it, but NOT FOR REVENGE. Imagine Stu being Ghostface, but NOT going after Sid. He just wanted to spread Legacy, of what he thought he AND BILLY shared... Before Billy *motive* comes out in Macher's kitchen. He wanted SHARE FUN OF KILLING. 🤷🏻♀️
He build empire of Ghostfaces, around world, but when he decided to meet those chosen ones and gave them CHALLENGE TO PROVE THEMSELVES... They wanted to show off... Chosing Sidney Prescott. And she fallowed them FOR REVENGE HERSELF.
So... Now Stu - to PROTECT LEGACY - decide to give them lesson, but forced to clean up that mess, he gets involved. Not FOR REVENGE, as he long left it behind.
Imagine by ending scene, Sidney standing surrounded by sea of Ghostfaces, terrified as hell... And hear from speakers : *SUUUUUPRIIIISSSSEEE, SSSIIIIIDNEEEYYY!* 🙌

As much as I am excited for Neve Campbell returning for Scream 7, i think it would be better, and don't lynch me, if this would be her last appearance in this installment, and ill tell you my theory is to why.
Since there wont be a chance that the Carpenter sisters will make an appearance, the sensible thing to do is to kill them off. If its gonna be an off-screen demise, have that as one of those "breaking news" segments by a Gail Weathers wannabe. Sidney recieves a phonecall from one of the Meeks twins that Sam and Tara has been murdered by another Ghostface, and so she rushes back to aid them, along with Gail Weathers. My theory is that there will be way more than just two or three active Ghostface killers, but all of them are apprentices of the bigger Ghostfish. (Ba-Dum-Pssh)
And that "Final Boss" is someone that both Sidney and Gail knew very well...

Turns out that ever since 5 and 6, possibly 4 even, Stu has been the mastermind behind the whole thing. To Sidney's horror, Stu happened to survive the TV to the face by Sidney, but survived with a butterface.
Now, the reason why i say that this SHOULD be the last appearance of Sidney Prescott is because she vows to end the terror of Ghostface once and for all, and, again, DONT LYNCH ME THIS IS JUST A THEORY, she sacrifices her life to finally kill Stu and the entire Ghostface memorabilia. She will go out like a badass, or as the late Tatum called her, "Superbitch."
Remember, in 3, Randy's two main important rules of a trilogy that stood out to me the most is "The killer is superhuman, shooting him won't work. Basically in the third one, you gotta cryogenically freeze his head, decapitate him, or blow him up." And "anyone, including the main character will die; that means you, Sid."
And if, and ONLY IF, Sidney does die, she dies fighting Stu, successfully killing the legacy of Ghostface. And Gail Weathers will be the last remaining legacy character to tell the story of two heroes who changed her entire life, Dewey and Sidney. But not in a gossipy, quippy, sarcastic, selfish manner as she is known for years ago, but in a genuine, hearfelt, bittersweet, hopeful manner. Gail's experience and her survival is what will keep the story going for me, as, in my opinion, she should take Sidney's place as the main legacy character. And the other main new generation characters should be the Meeks twins, keeping the memory of the Carpenter sisters alive.
So yeah... that's my two cents. But great video!

Him being Cult of Fun Killing Ghostfaces leader will be not only best FOR SERIE, dropping that Billy-obsessed revenge cycle... Giving FUN SHARING motive... But also would explain, why since 2nd movie, Stu is practically serie PUNCHING BAG, while it suck Billy dry. 🤷🏻♀️
Nah if they just keep using her character just to roll in the money then that's it for me. I want a new story with new characters, let the legacy characters rest and have their happy ending. Sydney isn't a punching bag they will ruin her character development but that's just me and my thoughts
I want them to eventually move a different direction. I get why they brought her back for this one and if they can tell a good fresh story with her great but if it's just more of the same old than they gotta go a different direction.
The franchise is saved now 😂, life is brought back to it 🤩🙏. Thanks to Neve and Kevin. The legacy characters are the only ones who bring life to it😂🤷
You could make a comic book based off the original Scream movies with Sidney Prescott and maybe Sam Carpenter.
