Hi Graham. Thank you for being so honest about this product - that's what I love about your channel - non nonsense honesty. I havn't been in a Tesco for years - only a Tesco Local anywhere near me, so that's a no no for me anyway. The best Thai Green Curry I ever had was in a Pub, near where I used to work, but that was years ago. I love the Iceland Takeaway Curry's and I always get Pilau Rice to go with it - maybe you could try those, they have a good variety. Thanks Graham - take care 🙂
Good Morning Michael, thank you for the comment - This was a very poor representation of a Thai Green Curry - sadly Tesco have some really poor ready meals in my opinion which are overpriced and tasteless - I used to go to a Thai restaurant quite often and the food was always good - I do prefer Indian cuisine and Pilau Rice - next time I visit Iceland I will look for the take away range - Have a great Friday :-)

Happy Friday bro. Good review, I like sticky rice but not Thai curries, too floral and not really keen on the lemon grass ingredient. Give me curry goat though and I'm happy!!! Best wishes 🙏🏻
Good Morning Karlos, thank you for the comment - Thai curries vary so much and they are not as good as the Indian curries not forgetting of course curry goat ! I agree with you about Lemongrass it is one of those things that can overpower all of the other flavours ! however this curry had no flavour at all - Take it easy and have a great Saturday Bro :-)

I don't know what it is about Tescos' ready meals but they're often not great quality at all, and definitely fall in comparison with other products. Even their so called "finest" range is mediocre at best, and at exaggerated prices it's well advised to steer clear from Tescos' ready meals, yikes!

Well I knew you wouldn't like that as you say Tesco ready meals are not the best no wonder they couldn't sell it at £3.55 by comparison Aldi do one and the full price is £2.49 so it was hardly a bargain in the first place. Aldi also do one in a bag with rice that you stir fry it's £2.49 for 700 grams I have had that one before it's okay for the money and you do get a decent amount I'm sure it's better than the Tesco version you tried.

This one is not for me Graham I am not really a fan of Thai food although Thai red curry is OK but not a patch on Indian food, and to quote my ex wife it looks like the contents of a baby's nappy, though she used to say that about Indian curries until she finally started to eat them, and I prefer basmati rice over jasmine rice especially when it is sticky 👍👍
Good Morning Robert, thank you for the comment - I used to go to a really good Thai restaurant a lot and the food was always spot on ! this was not good in any way and Tesco should be ashamed of selling it as Thai !! I agree with you it is not as good as Indian - the rice in this was just so bland - my preference with the Indian foods is Pilau - your ex wife is quite right in saying what this looked like ! It will be a long time before I go to Tesco again ! have a great Friday my Friend :-)
