How does one find songs to sample. I wanna start experimenting with this type of music. Do you just search "piano shit" on RUclips to find jazz samples?
RUclips digging. You can start off with artists such as Cal Tjader, Les McCann, Art Tatum and Ahmad Jamal just to name a few. Be sure to check Discogs as well. It has all of the song/album information of an artist. RUclips's recommended videos should also keep you busy while searching lol.
It honestly just takes time. If you really are interested then do some basic google searches and start from the early years move to the present. Just can't rush it, listen and explore.
