Another great video Numi! I always love your London Coin Show and Auction Preview videos. I always tell collectors to take advantage of auction previews - you can see and hold a million dollars or more in rare coins (at a large show) and pay nothing other than giving the auction house your email.
Also, I agree with you that the care taken by Baldwins was a bit shocking. I would expect them to take out each coin and put them in standard flips (it only costs like 1c per coin) ...not in a plastic baggy, loose in a box...etc. If they continue this practice I suspect that HA will eat their lunch in the long run :)
As for the US coins - the 1859-O is AU Details harshly cleaned (good eye). Common year in mint state thanks to a couple of mint bags of 59-O and 60-O being released in the 60s. I actually have a MS-62 example from 59-O for comparison: imgur.com/a/hYCcYLg . The 1871 was much better - AU coin - should grade ok. The bust half should grade XF Details, but still has nice eye appeal.

I think that this is a St James's (Knightsbridge Coins) Auction, nothing to do with Baldwin's in reality

Both of those seated Liberty dollars are in really great shape. The price seems right. All the local coin shops around me in California have nothing but slick seated Liberty dollars and halves.

Interesting old coins. That 1951 proof set is nice. I think the 1952 is the one to look for. I know getting the sixpence was difficult in good shape, even though it's not silver.

    The 1859(O) Seated Liberty had a 360,000 mintage.It looks cleaned(details)

Great video. I liked that 1951 proof set, it's a pity it was bashed about like that though. I also enjoyed the fact I can identify with the actual day to day monetary value of the eary 20th-century coins (what they were worth )in everyday use. Thanks.

Looks like there is wide variety of coins, but why are so many ungraded? Is this type of auction a picker's dream or nightmare due to some of the coins after being sent to NGC get a cleaned rating? Great video, but some of those coins looked at best AU 50.

Most coins in GB are ungraded. I was not impressed at the quality generally for this particular auction. All I really saw being auctioned were problem coins but at the same time tons of buying interest

90%, more like 99.9% my salary doesn't cover this kind of upper level coin collecting. Pleasure meeting you Mr. Crown Collector.

That first coin you showed looked like it was in a old PVC flip? Looked like a nice show. The Long Beach is coming up June 14th, are you going?

Seated Liberty Dollar. I would like one for my type set. I do have a nice MS62 Trade Dollar. Trade Dollars are the best US silver dollar. Better than the Seated Liberty, Morgan and Peace Dollars.

Trade dollars were not made to circulate in the states, they were produced solely to trade overseas. I have a Trade dollar, and ironically, those 1859-O and 1871 Seated dollars, all my dollars are probably a VF or XF raw. I got good deals on all mine I think, they are not cheap!

Baldwins overheads are huge and they concentrate on the higher value ones.
