- In this video, I show the blooms from a first bloom of Pastushin's Gold that is little past its prime, and repeat blooms of Lila Ashitomi and a large really nice plant of Young Kong. I was so relieved that Young Kong did not fall out of its hanger but the massive root system held it in place.
They are beautiful! I think you are very glad to be back in South Florida! Welcome back!😊
I am SO happy to be back!!!!
Great Plants in bloom. The colors are espectacular. Thanks for sharing with us. 👍
I am happy to share. Thanks for watching and for your comments!
I just love yellow orchids. ❤ gorgeous.
I did not use to like the yellow orchids but I have grown to really like them, maybe more than the pink and purple ones. They are just so striking when you have yellow petals and a red lip. This is a change for me since I used to ban yellow and white flowers in my garden - no kidding....
Wow, it is yellow flower season! Nice display! Looking forward to the luedd. blooms!
I almost made the lueddemanniana video today - but, I irrigated this morning and the flowers looked a little droopy so I postponed it. About half of the flowers are open. Last year, I had 4 flowers and this year, there will be 7. So next year, there will be at least 12?
They are all so beautiful! I'm pretty new to the orchid world, but so far my favorite cattleya is the Amazing Thailand. It's simply stunning.
Amazing Thailand is really nice - and, there are a lot of different looks to that flower, depending on the seedling/clone. I have made crosses using Amazing Thailand and I will hopefully get flowers that are even nicer (but, I doubt it...).
Thank you for showing such beautiful flowers, beauty of nature sir . We in Arabic countries love roses very much can you imagine rose water put to some desserts , other uses as skin care , some recipes , rose milk my favorite. My homeland Saudi Arabia at taif city known as city of roses , Morocca have valley of roses , annual festival. Syria exported damask roses to Europe for centuries. You are as guide tourists for American plants . I gathered main information about flowers you showed us briefly here it’s cattayas from central and southern America. English orchard collector William cattley gave his name to cattleya . Cattlaya is national flower of number of South American countries including Colombia . Cattlayas are available all year round . It’s needs special care ideal temperature is between 18 and 20 . Orchard care only need water once every ten days in winter. In summer water more often slightly , food orchard once a month . Please don’t misunderstand me reading and writing both are great ways to improve our English as non native speakers. Best wishes for you your dearest ones . Thank you for giving us chance to read learn new information improve our English as well.
Your English is very good!
They're really beatiful. I'm going to buy a cattleya pot next week
That is awesome!!! Go slow - don't overwater - enjoy the fragrance AND the amazing blooms.
What a beautiful orchid, love it.
Thanks - I have been able to get some good plants. I am hoping that one of my own hybrids grows as nice as these plants....
Wow I would love to see you repot the beautiful “sun”!
OK - I have a couple of big plants that are on my "make divisions" list. I will wait until I see new pseudobulbs and roots, which will be a few months for this plant. I will add this to my video list.
@ great!
I want the white one!!!! Pleaseeeee!!!!
Wow - you sure? If you do, please contact me at TheOrchidPropagator@gmail.com - I do want to virus test the plant before I give it to anyone. I bought it from a reliable grower and there are no virus symptoms but I want to make sure.
