North Concord Train Arriving at Powell St. BART (HD)

8-car North Concord train greeting a packed Powell Street Station in San Francisco, as scores of passengers head home during the weekday evening commute throughout BART. Powell Street is the second of four downtown stops -- and sixth of eight overall -- in "The City by the Bay" for all East Bay-bound destinations.
The North Concord train is a special peak-hour service that appears twice weekday evenings exclusively on the Pittsburg/Bay Point-SFO route, and supplements the normal 15-minute headway between trains headed all the way to Pittsburg/Bay Point Station. North Concord trains have been around since September 2010, as a response to BART's current extension from Pittsburg/Bay Point toward Antioch. Once the extension opens, it's likely North Concord trains will cease to exist.
