The news of HyunA and Dawn made me very sad. When their relationship news became public, they were treated to a number of problems, including being removed from company and receiving a storm of hate. When they broke up, people began to criticise them all over again. Let them breathe in peace, people!! They do not deserve to be hated. It is their private lives.
The most shocking thing to me is people will try to ruin your adult career over something that allegedly happened WHEN THEY WERE TWELVE YEARS OLD. And on top of that there was a police investigation!!! Pathetic and ridiculous.
@@lornam1142 💯. A good portion of the ones who trashed her now pretend that they always believed she was innocent. Garam’s “crime” was defending her friend from bullies. And of course the actual bullies didn’t like that and they gathered together and cried about her actions. I wish that I had a friend like Garam when I was bullied in school.
People make mistakes, learn from them and change for the better. As someone who was active when jae said those things about jamie, i can see that hes changed SO MUCH since then! You rarely see idols or celebrities apologize and take accountability for what they’ve done! Jae is actively trying to change, until now i dont think ive seen any idol do the same. To this day, since January, he still apologizes for all the things hes done, in a recent live he cried saying that *‘he was going to take his own life back in January’* you guys don’t understand how sincere this guy is. The people that are hating are so ignorant honestly, ill never justify what he did in the past but what’s important now is that he learns from all those things he did, that harmed many people! Thats what im seeing of him now, to this day hes trying to improve himself for the better, please support him, dont hate him. *people always say idols are human but when it comes to jae ig hes not one?*
And he never brushes it under the rug too. Every interview, while he doesn't go into detail he brings up how he's still always working on himself so he doesn't hurt his friends or his fans or anyone again.
The most heartbreaking ones are OmegaX and LOONa. I hope that they could win against their evil agencies and could debut again and have a successful career. Also the dating rumor between Tae and Jennie is so fascinanting and I'm still asking myself if it's true or not.
Seriously 2022 was alot of scandels and i really hope that 2023 bring alot of happiness for us i think the most shocking one was hyuna and dawn break up bcz i never expect it to happen bcz they went throught alot just to stay togather so its really shocking i dont know whats the real reason behind their breakup but i hope they get back togather again

2022 was filled with lots of stuff happening and all the scandals were shocking and sad and some were just sad and some just shocking 2022 was so tragic, With groups disbanded I wish them all the best on their new journey and with garam I say she should of stayed in the group she was amazing and her voice actually is perfect for the music video It fits so well with the song, I wish her all the luvk on her new journey and hope she becomes a idol one day she deserves it she is a innocent sweet girl she is only 18. With cube entertainment removing chu from the group was so shocking as well as I didn’t think they would but they didn’t treat her right so I’m wishing her all the best with whatever she decides to do. NingNings scandal was so dumb as she was only supporting China and she is Chinese after all so she probably wanted to I don’t see the problem with that. I don’t like how people decided to edit wonyoung pictures and make her look thinner she is thin because she is taller but she isn’t that skinny she still fine I did not like that. I really hope OMEGAX do get their justice as they deserves a lot of respect and should be treated right, the CEO had no right to hurt them or yell at them we love them and wish them the best for the future. I did want HyunA and Dawn to break up they were so perfect for each other. When I heard that jinni the Maknae of NMIXX leaving the group I was shocked and sad

This year I was super far away from K-pop thanks to finding more interest in art and VTubers… it helps to look at such news with a different perspective. Aka, some of these scandals are not even scandals. I wish fans redimensioned issues and that dating or rumors with no proof shouldn’t be the main topic of hate
So if Mingyu was in the changing room backstage and the woman came to him for help, like for the heimlich maneuver, he's not allowed to help her? Or even help her pop her back??? That is what it seems like he was doing, helping her pop her back because if you don't do that, it'll cause severe swelling in other places on the body.
I'm the most upset about Jae that he talked shit about the Day6 members. I haven't been able to look at him the same since then. It came up during the Jamie issue. I just can't believe that the people that he worked hard with towards a future and helped him gain a platform and be who he is today and yet he talked bad about them.
@@jjepark he's said shit before like day6 would of not been as successful if it wasn't for him and being all cocky and shit. he also spoke badly of Sungjin and Wonpil. That's when I lost all respect for him. I've been trying to look up the written interview again where he said it but i can't find the mf
He never talked shit about Day6. Aside from the Jamie comment, most of the things he said/did were clipped out of context and reshared. What he basically said is that their concept as a group are not more "authentic" than other kpop groups just cause they are a band who play instruments (after someone said that they "seem more authentic"). This somehow translated to "Day6's music is inauthentic". He only ever wanted to promote Day6 and left because he was afraid he's tarnishing the group's image. He even went as far to say that he's very proud of the music they make and the hard work each of the members put into making their music because as much as their concept was made up by the company - their music were authentic af. Ya'll really just read one messed up thread on twitter and never bother to actually find the source or listen to explanations and apologies. Even after some of the fans turned his back on him, when he released his solo, he joins the streaming parties and request that Day6, EOD and the member's solo music be streamed too. Him hyping Day6 never gets clipped or shared because it's such a normal thing, but the one time he says something that could make it seem like his contradicting all the good things he says suddenly becomes his identifier. He did admit that he had a lot of bitterness against the kpop system and the unjustifiable cancellations, that he seeemed to talk a bit harsher than usual, but that he's also working on resolving those bitter feelings he has. Sorry for the long reply, but I'm really getting sick of these takes.
I definitely didn't see it coming when i woke up to find out hyuna and dawn breaking up. They were my favorite couple like many people and its so sad. Of course they're adults and i cant know better than them but i can't help but wonder what happened
Fans have too much power, so do companies. Why is it that the idols do all the work, and yet they're pulled in all sorts of directions with such little control over their outcomes? It's so sad, and infuriating. Fans need to stop being so entitled. It's gotten so much worse these past few years.

@@Haddin665 no, u misunderstood it. usually, if there is an investigation going on on idol rumours, they are put on a hiatus rather than leaving group before being proven guilty. he left the group because he didn't want people to jump on the rest of the group like people did on him even if nothing is sure yet. rbw has stated that there is false information and therefore ravn is suing the girl. if he turns out guilty, it will all be very much deserved. for now, i remain thinking that he doesn't deserve to leave oneus, especially since theyre getting big now, just because some people want to take one side and not listen to the opposite one.
Hope in 2023 only good things will happen in kpop. I also hope that groups from smaller companies especially the undrrated ones will get recognized gain more fans
Long live Garam....that was the most heart breaking...she worked so hard to get there only to be bullied by stupid malicious sheep minded idiots....sorry, not enough negative adjectives for people who would bully a minor so maliciously for doing the honourable and brave thing she did when she was young!!! Love Garam forever!
i still cant believe that 2nd mingyu issue. it's ridiculous. so he gets backlash for being close with a staff but the sasaeng literally hiding inside a closet is okay? knetz dont make sense to me lmao. besides it was backstage, like it's dumb to be even talking about it.
You left out the resolution of Garam’s scandal. Garam was the victim, not the bully. The school violence committee report had punished her for cursing and making disparaging remarks, NOT violence. The cursing was in response to bullying by the accuser who was bullying Garam and her friends. The punishment to Garam was ONLY a level 5 (special education) which is basically a “slap in the wrist”. The accuser (the actual bully) received a harsher punishment but had transferred “on her own to avoid punishment”. The harassment toward the accuser (causing her to attempt/consider suicide) was done by Garam’s fans. Garam had nothing to do with it. So, Garam was the victim. NOT the bully. Cursing at a bully because she was bullying you is NOT bullying.
The most shocking scandal for me is how people call the most insignificant and ordinary things (obviously not all of them) "scandals". The second most shocking scandal for me is how the vast majority of fans still rely on sasaengs' intormation and rumours, and how they (including this channel) keep supporting their behaviour and keep promoting them.
Even if some of wony's screenshots were edited, the real pictures aren't actually better or make it seem like "no she's indeed at a normal weight for a girl her height and age". Seeing ribs is common among skinny people when we rasie our arms, but seeing the spine when we hold them forward is not common. Wonyoungs alarming weight should be dismissed imo.

Kookielit have done a video on B.I If you read the comments and replies, you can find the conversation about the background of his troubles. Idk if you know his music well but I personally think he is absolutely genius. He has written or been a part of so much really good music for different artists including BlackPink. As an artist it's really worth listening to what he's made, or been a part of.

Hi - looked back and the conversation I had about B.I was on another Kookielit video, discussing the SBS thing, I think. Anyway I'll paste wat the other person and I talked about, but I don't want it to sound as though I know loads, it's just I read a lot about it so was saying what I'd understood from that. I'll send this then post to you again.
This is what I wrote originally. It's long, so sorry. This is what I know of what happened to him but if any of it's wrong, then others can correct me as I'm just recalling, not researching. It's a long summary! B.I was the leader of iKON under YG entertainment. iKON were 7 members who went through a reality series made by YG called WIN (Who Is Next) to make a debut. They lost out to the group Winner, but continued working their best during this time and beyond and did another show called Mix n Match. During WIN, there was intense pressure to do well for the chance to debut. It was pretty gruelling for both teams. Things happened in it though like both teams had to make a new song to showcase to Yang Hyun-suk to be judged. iKON presented their song, but it was rejected and had to be totally re-written overnight. I clearly remember all iKON working hard, but B.I was not only writing and producing but also choreographing everything, and due to exhaustion from no sleep all the iKON members ended up on IV drips. That's just how intensely they worked. It might have made a good show for YGE, but it was brutal. Basically, iKON debuted in 2015, were extremely popular and released some brilliant songs, written by B.I (and others I'm assuming) but the pressure was always on him as leader to write, produce, choreograph and lead the others. At some time during this period he took drugs, supplied to him by a former (female) YG trainee. Text messages between them were found on her phone (thanks Dispatch) and he was questioned by police. I understand from what he said in the messages that he wanted to try drugs to heighten his creativity. Me, I believe the constant pressure to produce the kind of best selling music that he was writing as well as everything else he did in the band and making YGE money was making him ill, and he needed something to support him. Unfortunately he tried drugs. He left iKON in 2019. He has written a lot of songs for other artists, including Blacpink's 'Whistle' so he might have carried on writing without being credited during this time. I've heard a lot of songs from different artists that I've liked, then found he's written them. B.I made a comeback last year with an online concert and the stunningly good 'Waterfall' album, followed by the equally good 'Cosmos'. He's collaborated a lot with other artists, and the work he's produced, especially with the beautiful and talented Lee Hi, is brilliant. He's got a lot of fans who've stood by him over time as well as new, and finally he seems to have been able to start doing what he loves to do and getting some positive reactions. If you haven't heard his songs, then try some, either from iKON or his solo work. He's extremely talented and deserves to be able to work and be accepted again. I'm sure some of this might be wrong, but it's just off the top of my head. And yes, I think he's a genius.
@@sleepysarah. I heard his album.....man I don't like dispatch until this year they did sth good atleast but it's not fair for B.i...I still think it's harsh how people treated him about the scandal...an quite sure many idols probably do the same bse of being exhausted .....he is a legend.....he doesn't need kbs anyway since they banned him from performing on kbs.....he is an icon himself and personally he will always be part of ikon

Jae leaving Jpye, Jay Park leaving his two founded companies, Ravn leaving Oneus, Heo Chan leaving Victon, Garam being bullied for her 12 year old actions, Omega x going through hell. None are shocking but all are SAD. Kpop stans will never let these HUMANS they worship just live their lives unless it personally makes them happy
Oh but if those tables were to turn, the crying level would be at an all time high and kpop stans with still NEVER see the wrong in their own actions
I hope that every idol that had it bad this year has a great 2023. Same for non idols. Anyone going through things because of bitter humans, I hope they're uplifted and are able to live their best lives
This should be a top comment. Well said!
A large portion of fans are a major contributing factor to idols problems. Sad but true. :(

It's funny how that's such a Top thing to do 😂
Treasures Yedam and Mashiho leaving. WayV comeback without Lucas. Max becoming a dad 👏🏽
You forgot Yedam and Mashiho leaving treasure and Yg
The most shocking thing to me is people will try to ruin your adult career over something that allegedly happened WHEN THEY WERE TWELVE YEARS OLD.
And on top of that there was a police investigation!!!
Pathetic and ridiculous.
I was saying this from the beginning and I got hate for it. Now, people are feeling all sad for Garam and I can’t help but think it’s disingenuous.
@@kk_sj3635 yeahh and that just proves that one mistake doesnt make him a bad person!
2022 has been a horrible year for these idols .
The word incel made it to Korea and it led to that level of beef? My goodness, I missed that. Guess I've been working too hard I missed half of this stuff.
First baby but 2022 was a very tragic year with people leaving and things
And now Trainee A debut canceled...
Wait.... Garam was July 😳 time goes so fast
3:33 a f*cking psycho is HIDING IN A CLOSET filming people without their consent and the big issue of the whole thing is people having a good relationship and being friendly towards each other and fans are mad because he was holding a woman???? honestly some people are just so f'd up in their heads like wtf is going on
They were jealous it wasn't them. That's all I can think it is. It's really sad that they ignore the fact these people are stalked and just get upset at a male female relationship. We know that if it was a male staff, the shops would have been pouring in
I feel bad for Garam 😪
me too
Hybe cancelling trainee A's debut and garam being innocent months after the scandal
2022 was so tragic lots kpop idols left their group and got kicked out
Garam was the most saddest miss her 💕💞 even tho she was not in the group for a long time tho
Garam deserved so much better, she was done dirty by the public
also most of mingyu's instagram captions back then was a heart emoji the same color as his shirt😭
Actually, Kyujin is the maknae of NMIXX

Lmao knetz are a different breed seriously
Why nobody is talking about Mashidam leaving Treasure?
I'm the most upset about Jae that he talked shit about the Day6 members. I haven't been able to look at him the same since then. It came up during the Jamie issue. I just can't believe that the people that he worked hard with towards a future and helped him gain a platform and be who he is today and yet he talked bad about them.
wait what did jae say about day6?
According to the video in this channel that is dedicated to the narrative of their breakup, it is due to them having different goals in life
Garam deserved so much better, she was done dirty by the public
Fans have too much power, so do companies.
Why is it that the idols do all the work, and yet they're pulled in all sorts of directions with such little control over their outcomes? It's so sad, and infuriating.
Fans need to stop being so entitled. It's gotten so much worse these past few years.
And with the way this world is going, it's just going to get even worse. And the fact that no one puts these entitled stans in their place
2022 was a bad year for kpop, I was devastated with Kim Garams departure..

Why no one knows if he innocent or guilty yet
@@Haddin665 exactly. no one knows all the facts yet everyone jumped on him instantly and he had to give his career up because of that. it's pretty sad.
@@alexandra-hf2zk maybe he actually guilty and did cheat and use the poor girl isnt this the consequences of his actions ,im not saying he did it cuz aging no knows but it’s early to say “giving up his career” like you sure the rumour was false

Kpop fans r wild LMFAO 😭
I feel so bad for garam. She is still soo young! And it hits even harder when u realise that she was innocent! Hope her the best! 🥺💖
I wonder what 2023 will bring
You forgot about hot issue
What was the outcome of Nam Tae hyun and his girlfriend did they go to jail or what I'm curious

Hi miss kookie could u pls talk about B.i /hanbin from.ikon and what happened am his fan but the recent news of him banned from.kbs performance is shocking and since I became his fan I heard some peaple say his drugs usage was way long before he debuted and it wasn't fair for him to leave ikon and the whole yg cover up ...pls address this on this channel bse I personally think it was extreme for him to be treated harshly and I do recognize how drug use in s.korea is a Nono...which I support but what is his truth...bse different sources say different things.but I keep n open mind that I might not know the whole information....thank u
Kookielit have done a video on B.I
If you read the comments and replies, you can find the conversation about the background of his troubles.
