I have played this game on the Xbox 360 when it first came out, I would highly suggest it, the story is pretty good and the combat is easy to learn and hard to master, animation is fluid and the voice acting is on point.
I picked up the game because it was on sale, and I’ve played for a few hours. I have to say, this game is fantastic so far! I love the combat and the voice acting is amazing!
Aww sweet review!!! Had to turn up the volume, but no harm done. I somehow never heard of this game until the switch trailer, and your vid is one of the first ones I found!!! I have always loved games with animals (or maybe I'll be attending veterinary technician school soon...), and I'm so happy your review pointed me in the right direction of this gem....when I DO get a switch!!! (Hopefully this year!!!)
Once I heard experience points I was sold. All Metroidvania’s should have that in my opinion. Games where you have to find stuff to get stronger just isn’t as fun to me.
Speaking of audio imbalance, your voice is very hard to hear throughout this entire video, until the end where you're thanking your patrons. Still, great review; very fair, and very well put together. Thanks for talking about this game; I'm always excited to see it get more love
Sorry about that. I lowered the volume down to try to avoid distortions at high volume (I have since made a video on that and found a better level for future reviews)
@@Reviews2Go Ah, no worries. It was mostly just unexpected, and became a bit ironically funny later in the video when you were talking about imbalance. I admire your prompt response! And thanks again for the review.
Dust an Elysian Tail is such a beautiful game and very fun to play, I have the game on switch iOS and PS4 I really enjoy it so much and I hope that a sequel comes out. Can’t believe this game was made by one person who has done an exceptional job.
Don't forget about the infinite sword combo that is used to reach the highest scarf, also I just beat it in one go, and went back to get the extra. Sadly I lost the game memory on my Xbox 360.
I had my eye on if to look into this after seeing it on the eShop, having something of a like for cute seeming or looking things such there is content to back it up. *(like with Splatoon or GHOST 1.0, or where is very mech/punch or vehicular) Thanks for the review. ;'3
you can get through the entire game by spamming aerial dust storm, you don't even need fidget, it let's you move around at the speed of sound, hits as many times as the normal dust storm, but each hit does half a normal attack worth of damage. if you use fidget too there's literally nothing that can stop you
What audio level are you listening at? I lowered the volume of the original recording because it sounded too distortiony at higher volume levels. I've been trying to make all my reviews have no audio distortions.
To hear you at a reasonable level, Video volume at max and computer speaker at 35% (I have headphones on). For other videos, that would be way too loud on the ears.
Great review lil bro. Maybe someday, they'll continue this beautiful story. I for one want to know of these "storms yet to come."
The sequel has been confirmed, however we don't know when Dean Dodrill will work on it, he said he wanted to work on other projects first
That is so weird. I was just looking for a review of this game. Thanks Trent!

I hope there is eventually a sequel, eventually... 😢

This game was an amazing gem, I went into it blind and had tears in my eyes at the end lol. What a great game.

"Don't you remember your duty, don't you remember your friends"
"I remember everything and it changes NOTHING!"
Audio voice is too low
This game looks really...really good on the Switch OLED.
Funfact: If you quickly dash past enemies you can sometimes get past the barrier before it fully spawns. At least on PC

The animation looks really nicely done. I think I'll pick this one up at some point.
Cool but how much? And whats the game about
@@fidelsolis6070 I haven't played the game yet.

“NO NO MASH THE BUTTONS DO SOMETHING!”
I got the game as soon as I saw the game on the Nintendo Switch E Shop.
I’m paying full price ($15) for the switch version
Thanks man for the review.
Can you please make a review about Code Princess EX?
Best game ever made

Then you get to the final boss...
Yeah and add hardcore difficulty to the mix
Whoooooo what happened to the sound on this video it's so low
Like to see the Dreamcast port heard the developers on the Dreamcast junkyard podcast long time ago.
This game looks lit. Any others like this monster boy or shantae?
Im having the same error problem just hit it last night i actually called nintendo about it today
One of my criticisms of this game is how some of the art sprites look straight out of early neopets
Sounds like it would be really fun to play on hard with no upgrades
Which do you prefer rayman legends or this? Which one is better?
Nintendo Addict I would pick Dust an Elysian Tail any day, it’s just fantastic.
Is there an option to turn off the damage numbers?
Does this mean that beat the game in about 5 hours?
Audio's too quiet
