Makaha is one of my favorite surf spots in Hawaii! You can catch some long rides, and the wave is more forgiving compared to most spots on the North Shore.
I hate seeing clips of Makaha. It's the last great spot on Earth that is only crowded with locals. Luckily it's very far off the beaten path and they have "a way" of policing it.... I just hope nobody ever clompletes the road around Ká ena Piont.... That would change the westside forever.
