This is the advantage of TV shows over movies. When they introduced Jerome, everyone was disappointed because his first crime was to petty to turn you to the Joker we love. It can make you insane, but not Joker insane. So they try a bunch of stuff, and they where cool. The scar origin was tight, but not enough to erase his origin. And with the good acting of the actor, they finally got a glorious one. Instead of making him insane, they make him supersane. :)
I don't even watch the show 'cause I don't like it this much, but I fuckin' love Cameron! And his acting here is absolutely great. You may say he's insane for real. This is what I call acting.

It would've been more challenging and interesting if both Jerome was still alive. Having both brothers battle it out in Gotham while dealing with other criminals, Bruce & Al, and the GCPD. It would have been chaotic. Especially given the fact that Al Ghul is involve; imagine if he was being their devil on the shoulder - encouraging each brother in secret. In addition to all of that, the following season is the series finale. Thankfully the writers and this actor are pretty damn good (I watched the latter on Shameless). PS. Good video!
