plus this is the thermal scope, which has limited utility because of the zoom and narrow field of vision. The regular thermals though.. those things are ridiculous. If you are filthy rich or willing to waste hundreds of dollars a month, you can essentially always deck yourself out with thermals. I really think they need to bring down the effectiveness of those. Thermals don't work that way in real life, and they are just far too effective in this game. Don't get me wrong, they absolutely do highlight things that are warm, but your whole body wouldn't normally shine white and red like that. Instead it would be the exposed skin and clothes that are in contact with your skin or made of some material that soaks up and retains heat. Plus in the game human bodies are basically the only thing that shows up hot while wearing thermals, while in real life a bunch of other things would also show up warm, from animals to fires and running electronics and machinery.

For the sniping, if you dont know the distances on the map, use your map, press M, right click where the enemy is, and you can see on your compass the distance, and after, adjust distance on your scope with mouse scroll
You need to understand something about those snipers: M24 have great ergonomics and feels light, but it has lower damage than Mosin. M24 using great ammo wont kill at chest shots. Mosin have poor ergonomics but deals more damage. Lvl 5 can kill a lvl 3 armor to the chest and lvl 6 ammo kills up to a lvl 4. The SJ-16 also have poor ergonomics but its the best sniper in the game using AP ammo (that costs almost 10k). It´s one chest shot until lvl 5 armor and even wearing lvl 6 armor, that thing will hurt a lot. For casual sniping, the cheapest Mosin, or a custom Mosin using LVL 6 ammo will do the job in most cases.
That's a good breakdown dude. But in my opinion you don't need much ergonomics as a sniper cos you will camp somewhere and just shoot. I think you have to prioritise the damage over ergonomics. Also I agree with the Mosin as casual sniping.
@@Rizomaniac For slow play holding angles, you are correct, but don't underestimate an aggressive headshot demon running the m24 and peeking you. It literally feels like a COD sniper, really good for aggressive play.
The fact that man when he was healing didn't even try to take it cover and I could clearly see that there's a guy on the hill and he just piercely did not check the hill I mean like he really just turned and turned and didn't even look up to see if the guy was on the hill and he was standing right out in the open
I have some advice. Don't take so many close range fights with a sniper, never lay down in a fight because you become a static target, wait for an opening if you are far away, if not either run or shoot, and the last thing is don't get tunel vision and panic in stressful situations that just makes you lose.

You'll very quickly learn some very good, overpowered positions. People always put their crosshair on positions they expect people to be, just be where people won't expect you to be and you'll almost always get the first shot and be able to reposition before being shot

Also you basically don’t need to adjust for drop because it doesn’t really affect anything and you HAVE to play something like lockdown ATLEAST or forbidden because people won’t just hold W towards you in lockdown/forbidden as everyone will do in normals and the loot is NOT WORTH along with you should only use AP in a sj so you can one tap t5 to the chest and 1 tap t6 to the head
The editing style and the way he forms his videos is so similar to how Ramen Style does his videos, you must be taking inspiration from him i swear. Also when you're in close range fights try switching to your secondary instead of trying to snipe them when any micromovement requires you to flick at the speed of light. Anyways it's nice to find a youtuber that plays the free games that my broke ass can play, and forms their videos in a format that my favourite youtuber forms them, i would love to play ABI with you some day if your down for some "I played this noob in ABI and it turned out way different than I expected" content, anyways keep up the good work!

From my own experience on the mobile game, you would probably like to try the SKS and the SVTU as well, now, its maybe not perfectly fit into the sniper class, but imo, as long as u done the gunsmitthing right and play it correct it is did the job done and, still fun to play, but this just a suggestion though, it may sound stupid at some points but, regardless great content, also little i can do, but a subs, not the best but hope it helps your channel grow! this video is already perfectly done, looking forward to more of your ABI content, have a good day sir !

A a guy who've been playing arena breakout mobile, you should try the ax-50 and ar-30(idk about the pc version if they have it or not) because the ax-50 is a pretty much an op oneshot sniper. Even though it's heavy as hell, you should try it. It can penetrate t4 and t5 armor. And ar-30 is undoubtedly a good sniper too. It is very light-weight and use t6 ap ammo.

house in the farm is favorite spot for sniper position but it's dangerous because any player will check that location and can be dangerous for you, good vids anyways!
Nice Video just a little Tipp you might wanna go play lockdown too avoid scav players if you run above 100k Loadouts. They are annoying you gain nothing from them and you will only meet players :D
when you we're shooting the 100k sniper aka m24 you were compinsating for drop way too much so what i mean is you were aiming too high. and try to avoid scavs and use them as signals so when another player finds them you will know where they are since the bots will make noise most likely

Regular mosin looted from AI in farm is the best, just fill it with tier 5 ammo and if u are good with positioning and aim u dont need anything else...
been runing with default mosin with t7 ammo killed a total of t6 3 thermal guys with a chef's kiss though i died due to their teammates but my friend managed to yolo rob the thermal lol
i think if headshots are your thing, the m24 suppressed is good enough, but if your off by a little or hit the body, the mosin with the Bravo 1x/6x and level 7 ammo is the best, or whatever it goes up too. im still new to the game and learning. my friends had me turn my dpi down and slow my game play style down as im used to DayZ and if we do headshots iim used to FiveM. i was playing on 3500 dpi and went down to 1000, and turned my sensitivity down. i think it helped but im not sure yet. im so used to playing fast and pushing hard that i dont know if ill adjust. in DayZ we play agressive and sneaky, your either dead, spot each other, or holding a position, when scanning the woods you have to be fast and on point and cant miss any movement. its very difficult to transfer over to this game.
Lowering the DPI it's a good think for snipers as you have more room to adjust your aim but it's so hard to get use to it. Also I feel you with the fast-paced gamestyle cos I'm coming from Warzone so it's hard for me to play slow, hold angles etc. I'm new and I'm learning and also I'm waiting for the Delta Force to come out which is an extraction shooter like this but more "arcadey". It's focused on action rather than realism. Anyways, thx for your feedback dude, I really appreciate it.

Dude I managed to get a closed beta key and it was awesome. The game was running flawless and I had lot's of fun playing it. I will definitely put time and effort on Delta Force and I think it's gonna be out next week at Steam Next Fest event. 🙌
Damage doesn't matter if you can't oneshot your target, they might escape or even push you in worse cases With me M24 is the best, they has great ergonomic so we have more time to line up our shot, aim for the head, get the job done
Yes, also I think Mosin is a viable option for sniper using the most expensive ammo. Also there are some good suggestions from other guys if you read the comments.

Dude I managed to get a closed beta key and it was awesome. The game was running flawless and I had lot's of fun playing it. I will definitely put time and effort on Delta Force and I think it's gonna be out next week at Steam Next Fest event. 🙌
Why don't you check the kill cam, so next time you will no where the most positions kill sport players use
I had a bad habit of leaving the raid without checking the kill-cam. Now in every raid I check the kill-cam even if I know from where I got killed.

With me M24 is the best, they has great ergonomic so we have more time to line up our shot, aim for the head, get the job done
