Thank you for watching Guys! ❤️ I'm not just happy that we had our first guest on the channel trying balut but also how perfect this trip has been so far. By perfect I mean how they get to experience the side of the Philippines I love most!! More adventures to come on the way to Kaorin's dream destination, can't wait to share!! 😍
Wow your friend was so brave to eat balut without showing disgusted face and the only foreigner I've seen eating balut with genuine smile on her face. Well done to her! Keep safe & God bless you all. You're such a nice lady and fortunate to have a good husband. God bless you all.
Juat a note to day massive respect to Kaorin for being chill about the balut (although she and her mom both broke veganism :/ with the balut, kambing (the goat soup) and kare-kare (oc tripe, veggies in peanut sauce)-still, the local vibe; the girls dancing the hours away in the talyer (mechanic shop / from Sp. "taller") and getiing the car fixed *somehow!* with "glue and a string" [and a prayer] lol But you all and Pixel made it to Banaue just the same which is what matters after all. Pretty sure the next episode is the next-day morning view. That would be a great watch. Cheers and stay safe! *PS. Wonder why Kaorin thought the army guys had on "toy" guns =D They're cheerful, yes; friendly, too, but they are the real deal =D
Massive respect to Kaorin, she actually ate the whole thing! ❤ The hard thing is very likely just the white part, which is rubbery and is usually not eaten.
With Penoy, the younger variety, the white is softer and chewy and happens to be our fave part =D @SusieinthePhilippines Kaorin did not, did she? Except for the shell, cleaned the balut for good =D
these are the kind of tourist Philippine's deserve. they don't rants whenever occasions don't favour to them, other tourists will automatically throw tantrums like kids and compare things they've used to and things they're not used to in the Philippines.
I'm impressed! Susie speaks 3 languages, fluent in Tagalog too. Her friends are not squeamish with the "balut".👍👍 Also, there are heaps of good empirical mechanics around.
Susie you're communication skill is absolutely great. You can speak pure Tagalog, and English. ❤Maybe for the next couple of years you could also learn kapampangan and other dialect.
Congratulations for finally having your very first Hungarian guest/visitor to try balut. She is a very brave young woman. She has to be converted, or encouraged, to live in the Philippines. She probably has Filipino blood in her, like you Susie. Enjoy your travels!
Just like your previous vlogs, three things that peaked my interest are .... #1 -- your friends' reactions visiting a new country, #2 -- how fluent you've become embracing a new language, and #3 -- seeing the pkaces you visit. 😃👍❤
Susie, it's only in the Philippines. You cannot see checkpoint military men smiling or striking a post for a selfie or groufie. That is a big no no for most countries. It is hard to be a vegetarian in the Philippines if you do not have kitchen and if you don't not know how to cook. Because stores,/karenderias and restaurants are mostly with meat menus. Kudos to your friends for eating balut. Salutes and respects! 🙌💕🙌💕
the hard part of the balut (aside from the chick beak and bones if it's old) is the egg white. it becomes really hard and chewy when the chick is developed my fave parts are the duck broth and the yolk so i much prefer day old balut
The best way to eat balut is not to look inside but straight eat it while still hot. That's how I did for the first time .I loved it. I'm glad your Hungarian friend was brave enough to eat it. No after thoughts.😃
Wow, Kaorin's so brave! She's an honorary filipina now after passing the balut test! How about Marianne? I will have to confiscate Jonathan's Filipino certification for not eating a full balut yet! 🤣 Fun vlog again guys! ❤
Thank you for watching Guys! ❤️

Massive respect to Kaorin, she actually ate the whole thing! ❤
The hard thing is very likely just the white part, which is rubbery and is usually not eaten.
Ooh probably that was it. She didn't waste any parts of it haha
With Penoy, the younger variety, the white is softer and chewy and happens to be our fave part =D @SusieinthePhilippines Kaorin did not, did she? Except for the shell, cleaned the balut for good =D
Don't eat the whole thing ,the white part is hard
With PENOY na Balut...you may eat everything!!

these are the kind of tourist Philippine's deserve. they don't rants whenever occasions don't favour to them, other tourists will automatically throw tantrums like kids and compare things they've used to and things they're not used to in the Philippines.

Balut is perfect as pulutan with beer.
Agree. But to some extent only of balut. because excessive eating of balut especially with beer can lead you to a hospital or worst than that.
