Agree 100% with Nate on Bickerstaff being loaned out.
I’ve seen very strong performances but have never been wow’d
1 season of consistent playing time can do wonders for a striker.

If you loan out Bickers then can you ever see him getting back into the team next season as we aim to be in League 1?? All it will do is build up his value. Give him 2-3 games to prove he is good enough to stay.

He’s a better option that waters. When Mullin comes back, loan him out. Lots of goals on the pitch. If I were a up and coming striker, im not signing with wrexham. mulls has the 9 on lock for 4 years, at least. If you’re a tall striker, that’s a different issue. We need another solid 10.

Dion Charles? I know we’re heading towards bigger things but let’s be sensible. Firstly he’d easily cost 3-4 million, secondly, Bolton don’t want to sell. They’ve just turned down a 7 figure fee for midfielder Thomason from Bristol City in the championship. There was no way George Johnson was coming either and he’s just extended his contract despite being out for the season. Declan John hasn’t been featuring so far this season so there may be a possibility there but he won’t be cheap. The one guy that we definitely could’ve got was MJ Williams who didn’t even hit our radar, went to MK Dons instead and destroyed us. Yes we’re ambitious but let’s cap it a bit more sensibly. Yes we can get top lower EFL strikers, we got Mullin after all and Palmer was a good coup. However, they came from Cambridge and Wimbledon. Bolton are favourites to win league 1, have an amazing ground and facilities, sold over 15k season tickets and won’t have many crowds below the 20k mark and have a fantastic young squad that have been growing together for a while. McClean is a coup, no doubt about that but Wigan have problems and he’s 34 so it was good business for them and us. Keep it real and let’s not get too far above our station 😉
