- রাজধানী ঢাকা থেকে মাত্র ৪২ কিলোমিটার দূরে পদ্মা নদীর তীরবর্তী মাওয়া ফেরীঘাটের ইলিশের সুনাম বেশ। সেখানকার বহু খাবারের হোটেলে ইলিশই প্রধান আকর্ষণ। ইলিশের স্বাদ নিতে আমিও গিয়েছিলাম মাওয়াঘাটে।
