Apparently the dlc were all winners of something in the phone game. I think it’s called choose your legends? Worked out for the most part but still annoyed at camilla over azura, since at least all the other emblems are pretty relevant characters and Camilla is less important that azura or even the oldest brothers as a pair would have made more sense.

I love how done both he and Ike are with the whole cast in their own way, lol. They kept their characters pretty consistent. I will say I thought the final exchange between him and Kagetsu is kind of sweet. Whether you do the whole shipping thing or not, it's clear he cares deeply for Ike.

And people always go on that only nice characters have better personality, but Soren just proves that that's not the case. I mean nice characters are great and all, but mean characters just bring variety, there are reasons why I tend to like characters like Soren, Saizo, Felix, and Squidward.
Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn were the best FE games in that regard in my opinion. Characters like Shinon and Makalov may not be the most liked, but they elevate the whole cast by bringing authenticity and more depth (how other characters react to those AH can do a lot for their characterization).
Alfred being silent is extremely funny, I know it’s bugged, but I just find it extremely amusing! I’ll say, Soren’s supports are comedy gold! I love him! xD

I’ve never played engage so idk if it’s just a common animation they reuse but both Ike and Soren have the same habit of bringing their closed hand up to their mouth when they’re puzzled by something. It’d be a really nice detail if the animators put that in just to show that they’ve spent so much time around each other that they picked up certain gestures from each other.
To all Path of Radiance enjoyers, due to Chloé and Soren's A-rank bond, it is canon that Soren gets at least one Energy Drop. Also I'm pretty sure that outside of Matthew's Lyn Mode quip about the Angelic Robe, this is one of the first times a character in-game has acknowledged the existence of stat-boosters.
Giving Soren an energy drop isn’t actually a bad idea. It lets him use thunder without taking any speed penalties. Still probably better used on a physical character though
@@jamierooney455 to clarify, I always give him an energy drop so he can use Tornado more easily in the late game. Though early Thunder is good if you aren't using Ilyana. That way, he might be able to use Rexbolt.

You got the gist of it yes. He does have mixed blood. Branded are people where at one point, one of their ancestors got together with a laguz and the brand appeared on them. It didn't have to be a direct parent, just had to happen in their ancestry

Eh there few characters that are enjoyable. For example while alycrest has a quirk. He has shown to actively try to be more sociable and better himself. Not to mention be courageous when he talks about protecting lapis.
Soren wasn't racist per se, but he had something against Laguz of the Cat tribe. He didn't show any negative feelings towards any other Laguz and he himself is half dragon.
