i5-12400F as it’s a tiny bit better at gaming and better at productivity. If you already have an AM4 motherboard with an older Ryzen then go Ryzen 5 5600 all day long. Me and my daughter both have 5600’s. Great CPU. Just built my nephew an i5-12400F PC with a 4060 tonight! He’s got DDR4 3200, a 1TB M.2 , Corsair CV650 PSU, CoolerMaster 212 RGB Cooler and it’s spot on for him.
I have 4060 ti and i5 12400f, running on ssd, also have 2x16GB 3200Mhz of ram, but in some game like Son of the Forest and Cyberpunk i got low gpu usage. Just bought it last month. Idk what happen 😢

Hi, i have this build with 2x16 ddr5 and i think the processor bottlenecks the gpu, i upgrade from a gtx 1060 6gb with a i7-9700k cpu, the new build introduce a lot of stutters, even in old tittles, you can se that also in some games in this benchmarks, in rust and minecraft, which in my previous build, rust stutters (bc is rust) but just one stutter every half an hour, and minecraft never stutter. Prolly i'm going to upgrade to a much powerfull processor, but i would like some feedback to know if its really that n.n.

Depends on what price you mean when you say "budget, $200-$250? Rx 6600 xt or rx 6650 xt. $250-$300 rx 6700. I know I sound like an amd fanboy but in terms of price to performance, amd cards are unbeaten
A bottleneck of about 15% though. The processer is too weak for the graphics. You are losing performance because of it. I recommend that you chose a pc with better cpu or buy a pc with a weaker gpu. It will also cost less.
@ the i5 is too weak for the 4060. Let me put it like this: a chain is only as strong as its weakest part. You could get more performance from your pc if you choose a cpu that compliments the gpu. Imagine having a certain amount of power but you can’t use all of it.

Then I might as well not buy anything at all.
