Something that I've learned since I have this channel: I can't make everyone happy. But it doesn't mean I don't care or that I will stop trying to offer the best experience to everyone. People complaining about the ambience only Isle of Dorn video, I hear you. Hopefully the music will be released earlier in beta. But I will continue this mini-series of ambience only The War Within. P.S.: The ambience is a bit modified. I like a part of it, but there are some parts that need improvement in my opinion (e.g.: Night ambience) I will upload The War Within videos here: tiny.cc/tww50xy (save it for later) Did you enjoy this video? One thing that always annoyed me about WoW was there was always background music and you couldn't turn it off. I wanted to just hear the ambient noises.
The best thing Blizzard can ever do to start the hype for these expansions, is to slowly roll out the music for the zones with their preview. It perfectly wets the appetite and gets the imagination churning
That reminds me Hogwarts Legacy did release ambiance videos themselves. And if you listen more closely to most War Within videos on social medias (if you don't mind spoilers), you'll hear some pieces of brand new themes. :D (one even sounds like the main menu theme)
These look really beautiful. I generally prefer with music , but I would rather ambience only while we wait for the official music to be released, so I think your decision is a good one.
Am I the only one or this zone feels so very much like... WoD? Like, I can't get this feeling, but I look and hear ambience and feel "that is so much like Draenor"
I would have preferred Wow to have a non-realistic day/night cycle with, for example, 1 hour of night and 1 hour of day in the game to enjoy the landscapes at different times of the day without having to log on at night to see the night in the game. In open-world games sometimes I just like to stop and watch the sun or the moon move across the sky.
It's something they have been working on gradually even though the engine is very old. Of course they have to try to upgrade the graphics otherwise the game would still look like a 2004 game.
@@spinosaurus2001 It has always been improving, MoP is beautiful, from far. But WoD shited to some more cartoonish style which made everything even smoother and age better. Also it gives a good preview to when they're gonna redo the old world from zero... because they have to start it. In Midnight. Of course not all at once. The whole project can take 20 more years if they want, but they need to scratch that itch that makes them plagiarize themselves on almost all expansions (this here is basically HD Loch Modan with a piece of Twillight Highlands located east too), not even talking about the three ""new"" ""Dwarven" clans. (The same deal with centaures and Ohn'ara. (That was even worse... I'm really feeling like back when WoD ended and Legion got some shit together, but BfA really made true (and "easier" world building with existing kingdoms already prepared in Chronicles)
Love your content! I'm constantly using it as background noise while I get some work done. Question though... How do you get the video footage? Thanks!
There are worries like that with every expansion 🙂 One thing which was pretty consistent during all this time was the artistic part. So I am not that worried 🙂
Спасибо за работу, Meisio. Теперь буду знать что от того что нашему народу запретили покупать и играть в эту игру-никто от этого ничего не теряет. Абсолютно однотипные локации, не выдающийся сюжет.
Capitalists are dumb but it's not new Blizzard recycles old zones. It's like an itch they're trying to scratch ever since the end of Vanilla, especially after an expansion "failed" (MoP and SL were in fact the most deeply worked world buliding ever, followed by BfA). There is always something new, but also "secure" fan services, like this being North of Khaz Modan (with three "dwarves" clans too), just like Ohn aran Plains were Mulgore (with "centaures" too...), Talador was Quel'Thalas (with blood elves too...), Shadowmoon being Azure Myst which was itself Ashenvale, (with with "past" Draeneï somehow even more elven)... Often when you dig into Wo(D)W lore, you fnd references of references less and less understood by anyone but the crazy people xD )... WotLK and BC were the masters of recyclers. But talking about it, I think all that is finally coming to an end with Midnight. Because like BfA we finally come back to known aeras and kindgoms, so it will be more easily for devs to get their shit together. They can't only remaster the textures of BC Quel'Thalas... or the game is dead. They need to finally scratch their itch now, and START to actually remake the entire old world from ZERO, in a way larger scale... taking 20 more years if needed, but who cares? They could pass the time while making some sensical story. And they'll have all their time to conceptualize brand new concepts too. (Like Avaloren or new underwater zones matched with dynamic swimming...)

I love your Videos and work, somedays i seek simply ambience and no music so at least for me this new mini series is perfect thanks for that :)
Seconded. I understand if posting ambience without music is detrimental for the channel for algorithm reasons though, it's a shame.

@@halfmoon106you can now, don’t know how long since you’ve played
@@halfmoon106 No, you could turn off the music and keep ambience since Vanilla.
I love how after twenty years we're still discovering the world of warcraft
Same

Damn, they still got it with the designs and cozy city vibes. Looks awesome.
The Foundation Hall is sooo pretty! Really happy for all the Dwarf Players to get this in TWW
loving the look of this zone. the art team never fails to deliver amazing visuals
Thanks Meisio for the great video.....👍👍👍👍👍
This is wonderful! Thank you so much for creating it! 😊 🙏

Beautiful zone. Didn't realize they were allowing the new zones to be shared online with everyone.
Thank you for your amazing wotk on these videos. I can't wait for the musics to be available too. :)
I didn't know I needed this, thanks.
Am I the only one or this zone feels so very much like... WoD? Like, I can't get this feeling, but I look and hear ambience and feel "that is so much like Draenor"
It feels more like Dragonflight to me.
thank you for these beautiful previews
Beautiful work Meisio!
I wish fishing was more fun and immersive i could chill next to the black unicorn thing and zone out.
I am so excited I cannot wait to hear Hallowfall music. Please blizzard just a taste! A small preview let me hear it!
I never played Cata. Thanks for the video, Meisio :)
I hope the music for this place reuses some themes from Northrend Titan stuff, such as the Thor Modan and Halls of Stone music!

Have they upgraded WoW's graphics or something? I don't remember WoW ever looking this good.

When was the last time you played, genuine question. The steady graphical updates have been around since WoD

TornHeim + Loch Modan + Ironforge without Mountain + Uldaman... yep seem to be a honest fusion
Thanks =)
what if Karl Bruggerman composed for the war within.

This will be the first OST with no Russell Brower, right?
Russel Brand is composing it now
Russel Brand... Haha.
No actually Russell Browser has not composed music for Wow since the end of the WoD unfortunately.
Never heard of
It is it brand new?
Yes. The expansion is in Alpha stage though.
Soo, I guess you got into beta?
Alpha even. I was lucky I guess 🙂
Im worried we gonna get really trash music tbh.

You can already hear some few extracts on their shorts and trailers around their social media.
It already fucking rocks.

These videos are better than actual game which is sad.
