This foundation is my holy grail!!!! I absolutely love it. I have tons of acne scarring and pimples here and there and redness. This covers most of my redness and the finish is amazing !!! After applying it settles into the skin and looks like it's airbrushed. It's also light and moisturizing which is great for me in the winter. In the summertime I used the revlon color stay mousse foundation which I also love but my skin had dry patches because of the cold although I have combination skin so I set out to try a new foundation. I purchased this and was super impressed by it. I press on a tiny bit of mattifying powder on my t-zone as it gets oily throughout the day but all day my skin looks glowy and amazing and it doesn't cling to dry spots. I'm only 21 but my skin was looking so dull because of all the acne cream I was putting on it and this stuff has made my skin look amazing and even. I definitely recommend this product. I use the revlon photo ready concealer with it as well
hi. i have d same skin issue..oily acne prone. i tried matte foundations or creams but my face looks so dull and dry afterwards. did this foundation gave you a dewy finish?

YES. I just got this foundation today and let me tell you it is one of the best I've used. It's very lightweight and you barely feel like its there. It doesn't feel cakey or heavy at all. Not to mention it leaves a luminous and healthy glow when applied. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a light to medium coverage.
I really love that you actually test out how long a product lasts throughout the day. Such a reliable test!

Judy's first impressions are the best! When it comes to foundation, her reviews are pretty much the only ones I watch. Other reviews will say "Oh this is such a great drugstore foundation! it has such a great finish and lasts so long for a low price." but they use expensive high end primers and setting sprays/powders with it, so of course it's gonna seem great. Judy shows what the foundation actually does on its own and I love that.(:

It's winter here in Australia, and I love this foundation for the colder season. It gives my face a nice glow and I'm not left looking dull throughout winter. I normally I have an oily t-zone in summer but in winter my skin is drier. This is the perfect foundation for colder times :)

The "apply every 2 hours" was referring to the sunscreen. On the outside of the bottle is has "foundation dircections" and on the inside flap it has "sunscreen directions". Bc it has spf they put that on there. Surely no one would apply every 2 hours lol.
I am always apprehensive when I see new base products because I don't know how they will fare with my oily skin. Based on your first impression I think I will try this foundation.

This is by far my favorite drug store foundation. I use a stippling brush to apply and it makes my skin look awesome. I have very fair combination/oily skin with some blemishes sometimes. I use a powder to set it (ELF HD) and it lasts quite well.
I love the first impression videos!! I especially like that you do only one side of your face to really illustrate the product's true effect. The updates throughout the day are awesome as well! There is no telling how much money you have saved me. Lol!

The foundation looks amazing healthy skin-like. Concealer's always needed for pimples!
I have tons of acne and I can honestly say this foundation covers it beautifully.Stipple it on first then buff it in with a flat top and bam beautifull medium to buildable coverage.
This foundation is awesome for normal dry to dry skin! Nice slight glow and not shiny or oily.

I have pretty oily skin, and this looks beautiful on my skin. I use just a tiny bit and it evens out my skin tone and gives me a nice glow. I would definitely recommend setting it with a powder though!

I really love this foundation! It gives me such a healthy glow & luminizes my face like it says. It has vitamins in it as well, so it won't break out the skin & is really gentle. I like the way this foundation looks like on your face. It has the same finish as Lancome's Teint Miracle. They both leave your face looking dewy and a "lit from within" glow. Although I only find that one layer of Teint Miracle rids of my redness from blemishes and acne scars. This is a really good dupe considering Lancome owns Loreal :)

I am really glad that I found this because I have been wanting to try this foundation. Since being on treatments my skin HATES me and it is so dry and blah looking. I look sick and I don't want to. I just purchased this makeup last night from Target for about $12 something. I love it! I started applying it with a flat top Kabuki brush but then start using my finger tips because its a bit more liquid-y than most heavier/thicker foundations that I've used and the brush just soaked it all up. But I think I will continue to buy this! Love the coverage and the fact that over time it dries in almost "powder form". Matte but "Lumi" :)

I just bought this foundation yesterday. So far I love it. I did set mine with powder because I have combo skin. But it lasted all day and evened my skin tone out perfectly :)

I'm really glad you did a first impression on this product cause I was really considering getting it as a light summer foundation, I'm not surprised it would be dewy but when I saw the display at my drugstore it said it would have a matte finish or that it would be shine free, I don't remember the exact words though. This was really helpful :)

If you use a beauty blender it will/can become FULL Coverage without having to touch up every 2 hours LOVE IT
L'oreal true match makes it easy to make sure you get all your face stuff in the same shade. They have cool, neutral, & warm, referring to undertones. I just know that a lot of Asians with yellow undertones use warm. Then they have numbers that refer to how dark the color is. I'm not sure about other stores, but CVS has a 100% satisfaction guarantee on beauty, so they will let you return any used make-up. This policy is great for finding the right color because you can return it if it's wrong (:

I have this foundation and I love it! I'm in the shade N3 and have combo/oily skin so I do set it, because I can get shiny. The whole apply two hours is only if you're using it for sunscreen purposes, since it does have a SPF of 20. Why anyone would use a foundation as sunscreen beats me.

In WA, 70 is considered highish, esp in Seattle where it's further north. A regular day here is somewhere between 50-60.

You're right. I read that too and it does say that if you're using it as a sunscreen to apply it every two hours. Caught me off guard at first but once i read it again i saw the correction.

La Roche Posay Toleraine worked out fine for me..It has a good coverage and it has good ingredients that don't make your skin worse..

I love this foundation so much I've been using it everyday, but i agree with some other posters on the two hour reapplication. It seems like it's just for the effectiveness of the sunscreen.

I believe the "reapply every 2 hours" thing is for the sunscreen, in order to be fully effective it would have to be reapplied. I looked at this last night at Walgreens, and tried on the sample on my hand. It seems to have really nice, very natural finish... but I've watched a few reviews online and on some people it goes super shiny, so that scares me. I'll have to give it some time and a few more reviews I think.

i love this foundation i used to use estee lauder but it was too much coverage. i like this because its light and i dont need much coverage and im so happy i dont have to waste 30 something dollars on freakin foundation. it doesnt make me break out or anything i love how it looks

It says reapply every two hours because it has a Broad Spectrum SPF 20 in it. Because of the Broad spectrum requires the manufacturer to list instructions of how to receive best protection with the spf
I'm using this product and it's a true match. What I do is let it sit on my face and put setting powder. I do work at night but seems coverage lasts for 4 to 5 hrs. Haven't tried it at a club though. Nice foundation but would look for more.
It says apply every 2 hours because of the SPF in it. A new "law" was put out that in order to have any SPF signs on a product, the company must put how long the SPF will last. This goes for any product. (foundation or sunscreen)
