I’ve done this exact float, and it is stunning. The whole environment is gorgeous. This includes the bluffs, springs, caves, and mountains, in addition to all interesting fish and stuff under the water. The Jacks Fork is a world class river.
I have as well. Amazing and it seemed like we caught a hundred fish each. Except we were throwing Tiny Torpedos primarily. I caught a pig though at the cliffs because I switched to a jig there. NS. This was an awesome video. Like a memory.
Oh my gosh Larry the water clarity is unbelievable, beautiful. I’ve always thought of an overnighter but waited too old now. You caught some dandies. Love your videos.
Thank you. I appreciate the support. I could live on that river. 😆 never know if someone could let you join them on a trip. That's the 1st time for me but definitely not the last.
Man Larry, what a place! I can't get enough of that clear water. Seeing that snake was crazy. I don't think I'd want to be anywhere close when the water was 20ft high! Looking forward to part 2👍
Thanks for checking it out. That's the prettiest area I've ever floated, and the fishing was good, too. It's hard to beat that. That area floods quickly and drains pretty quickly. I'm glad I got to float it.
Thanks for stopping by. The first time I ever did that river, I fell in love with it. This section blows that one out of the water. Every corner had a new bluff, and I love bluffs 😆
@@ShowMeCreeks This is actually my first time watching a video on your channel. It was in my suggestions! I just posted a kayaking video so maybe that’s why it popped up? Watched the whole thing 👍
That looked like an awesome stretch of river. Overnight floats are one of my favorite things to do. Usually take a nice steak and some instant mashed potatoes. They destroy that whoppper plopper at night too!
Beautiful stretch of river there Larry. Looks like you were a little rusty on the net, you usually snag them out of the air!! How long of float is that? I'm looking to do an overnighter this year still, that looks like a great one. I'm usually solo, are there any outfitters around there that will shuttle a kayak or did you guys bring two vehicles?
I'm definitely rusty with the net. 😆 I was lucky to land some of those 😆 🤣 you could do this in one day, really. We just decided not to. Unfortunately, I don't know any Outfitters that go that far up. I did see a post on the side of the road that someone would shuttle your vehicle, but idk who or the number. We always take two vehicles. I have so much crap I take I don't want to load it into an Outfitters vehicle. This area is very dependent on rain. We still dragged quite a bit, but it was worth it.

So glad you're back doing the videos Larry 👊👊👊👊
Thanks, Bill. It's good to get out and make some. Hopefully, I can keep making some trips. Good luck out there.
Great top water action Larry, you were really lucky on the flow...thanks
I definitely lucked out there. Thanks for checking it out.
That was awesome! What beautiful scenery! Glad you had a good time out there my friend!
Thanks, Mark. They almost gained a new resident. 😆
Man that water is clear! That's a beautiful area for sure. I'd be happy with any of those smallies.

Awesome, I'll check it out.
crazy beautiful water! I'm hoping to go catch a few friday
It was a great area. Good luck to ya.
Never fished it but I visited a park there once. What a gem!
You definitely should check it out. Bluff after bluff the whole way.
When you are fishing in a place like that don't really matter if you catch nothing or not. Good job on the vid!
@@Fishingsippi you're 💯 correct. The fish is a bonus.

Camp on the river was cool. I'd definitely do it again.
Missouri is sure beautiful
Absolutely
Dude when did you start uploading again...Excellent video bro
😄 maybe a few this year. I just haven't really been out. It was raining or flooded here for every day I had off 😆
@@ShowMeCreeksRight. Seems to rained more this year than I remember it raining in the past year's
@jonathannoblim7667 that's what I was thinking.
@@ShowMeCreeks while it's been a super drought here..

Why did you let it go.
Let what go? I always practice catch and release.
