I ordered one and it is on the way! I had purchased the BL Brilliant and found I could not live without the pressure foot lift! LOL. You did a FANTASTIC job of covering all of the extras this machine has; had I seen this video prior to purchasing the Brilliant, I would have bought the SOPRANO first! Going to be a great travel/classes machine. Fourth Baby Lock for me!

Please do a video writing words using the Soprano
Hi there, you can add subtitles to any video while you are watching it by going into the settings option on the bottom right of the video you are watching (the gear icon). We hope this helps!
@@sewingstudiofl They don't mean subtitles, they ask if you could do a video stitching words (i.e., "writing") with the soprano font stitches.
I love this machine, but I constantly have difficulty with the automatic threader!

Do you need to lower the feed dogs to sew on button?
Yes you do need to lower the feed dogs to sew a button on with your machine.
No, you don't. I have had this machine for years, you just need to select the stitch number for button sewing (and use the presser foot for button sewing). You don't need to lower the feed dogs for any preprogrammed stitches, only for free motion quilting.
