    how destructive the wreckage is? no no, it's the water that is destructive. The wreckage is the result, not the cause.

    That bridge needs to be replaced, not fixed. What did this Governor's do with the Infrastructure money?

    How they failed to remove debris from accumulating and blocking the gates is shameful 😢

    IT'S NOT OVER, IT'S NOT TIME TO GET CLOSER AND FIX, as far as i know, the water can still rise fast, because the dam itself is intact, its the soil near it that failed. when water flow like this, it can litterally lift the dam...

    Climate change is to blame for a faulty old dam.

    • @CM-xr9oq
      @CM-xr9oq 6 месяцев назад

      The dam structure didn't fail. Climate change is likely to blame for the Rrcord-setting rainfall, which lead to overtopping and erosion.

      @@CM-xr9oq How do you know this is record breaking? How does anyone know that much rain has never fallen in the past? The problem is we build things near water, be it a river, lake or ocean and nature eventually takes it out. If you build a house out in the middle of the forest don't be surprised when a wild fire burns it down. Build in the midwest don't be surprised if a tornado takes it out. Things happen.

      @@CM-xr9oq wake up. Dam was a) not generating power for years b) had been free-flowing for years c) was in bad condition. It is a failed dam, even before this event. Should have already been removed.

    • @jjoster
      @jjoster 6 месяцев назад

      @@CM-xr9oq it was faulty because the gates could not in let water through. Why? Obviously because... checks progressive talking notes... It rained a lot.
