  • The practice of dream yoga deepens our awareness during all our experience: the dreams of the night, the dreamlike experience of the day, and the bardo experiences after death. It is a powerful tool of awakening and can help us recognize the true nature of mind. Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche points out the dreamlike nature of reality in this guided meditation and teaching, broadcast live on June 27, 2015, from the annual Summer Retreat at Serenity Ridge.
    Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche is the founder and spiritual director of Ligmincha Institute. Rinpoche is the author of The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep; Tibetan Sound Healing; Wonders of the Natural Mind; Healing With Form, Energy and Light: The Five Elements in Tibetan Shamanism, Tantra, and Dzogchen; Unbounded Wholeness (with Anne Carolyn Klein); Awakening the Sacred Body; Tibetan Yogas of Body, Speech and Mind; Awakening the Luminous Mind; and the upcoming The True Source of Healing: How the Ancient Tibetan Practice of Soul Retrieval Can Transform and Enrich Your Life (Hay House, July 2015).

    Hello Rimpoce, thank you for the video ! 😁👍 I have a doubt. What are the differences from the waking state and the sleeping state in being a dream? In what ways are they similar and in what ways are they different? Because in the waking state, for example we cannot fly, and there are direct consequences for everything we do. Tashi Delek ! 😁 👍

    Pray for me. Had terrible, horrid Astral Attack dream. Feel sick. Dark and heavy and evil entity pull me into it forcefully and was in sleep paralysis... It was viscous. Then it whirled me and was yelling at me. My feet are fizzing and have pain in belly and bewilderment😞😭

    Very frequently I dream that I am lost in a city or in a social situation. Is this lack of clarity? Is my head chakra not strong enough?

    Can a Christian study Buddhism or will the world call him a fake Tibetan?

    • @sampaaYT
      @sampaaYT 7 лет назад +2

      many people studying Buddhism is not Buddhist. Buddhism believe that religions are like a medicine. And like medicines, they do not cure all sickness. a Christian is in Christianism because that is what makes sense for her or for him. If that person also wants to study Buddhism, no Buddhist will call her or him anything. Being a Buddhist does not mean to be Tibetan. One teacher, DJKR says: it is easier for non-Tibetans to reach enlightenment (the Buddhist goal), than to become Tibetan.

      Leonard Cohen lived as a Buddhist monk for 10 years but still considered himself Jewish. He saw no conflict.

      may Christians study meditation methodology, which dream yoga )notice the word yoga) the Buddhists use as their steps of mediation development are matured, used and proven as effective eventually for almost eveyone. in fact, that method over went an overhaul beginning the 1800s and still in motion today as Buddists found themselves realizing that these practices of medication had been around so very long. You cannot find a pure tradition or lineage pactice as everyone found masters as teachers from so many different ones. for the most part Tibetan Buddhism and Buddism in general is a result of a fact of geopgraphy. What your practice lineage was depended on what area of the country you were from as it would be what everyone else in that region practiced. but if you were a devoted practioner and even monastic scholar, you would hear of teachings or a teacher, and leave to seek those teachings and that teacher out.
