to unlock>just unplug the black to white wire under the seat
Exactly! This is the easiest way!
I was here in the comments to post exactly the same thing. Simply open up the seat and remove the connection between the black and white wires and the speed will double and your speedometer will still work.

It is a great bike just be sure to tape up the hole in the back of the controller box unless you want to change controllers when the roads are wet. Mine fried. Janso was good enough to replace it under warranty. It's closed up like crazy now with a grommet and Gorilla tape on top just to be sure. On a fresh battery mine does 48Kph, got the 17 amp and the standard 14amp. The 17amp battery will keep the speed higher for longer and have more range. Pop the 14amp in a backpack and you have 31amps of power. Just swap 'em out when they run dry and you're good. Here are the PAS speed levels without calibrating the speedometer(23 inch) To calibrate the speedometer for more accuracy change the wheel diameter to 22.8 inch.
PAS Speeds no load, 23 inch diameter non compensated speedometer.
PAS 1 20 Kph..........12.4 mph
PAS 2 30 Kph..........18.6 mph
PAS 3 40 Kph.......... 24.8 mph
PAS 4 50 Kph.......... 31 mph
PAS 5 55.6 Kph...... 34.5 mph
Remember this is NO LOAD, with the tire spinning in the air. Obviously when you're riding it it's going to be slower this just shows you what the controller is trying to achieve on the various PAS levels.
You can double the speed simply by disconnecting the wire under the seat. Then your speedometer will still be correct. There are plenty of videos on RUclips if you need more detail. But it’s easy Peezy

Good job, you just told everyone to change the tire size in the menu from 22 to 0 inches. That is NOT how you unlock the speed. I wonder how many peoples bikes you ruined!
