I have that exact same Tagima, it's become my favorite guitar. Mine has no playability issues, it's actually one the nicest playing guitars I've had, beats the hell out of the classic vibe jazzmaster.
That's weird. This model, at least here in Brazil, is sold with a different configuration than the one in this specific guitar. The varitone switch and the pickup selector locations are switched, and the varitone is a more standard rotary knob with five positions.
Hi! I’m a guitar tech for Tagima USA. We reconfigured the 61s to have the hardware Ryan is showing in the video. We cleared stock of the 61s with rotary knobs and are now only selling the ones with the dial, but they do provide the same function :)
I have a different version I think its an older model and I like it better cause the switches r in different places and work better and the headstock is different 🤘🔥🤘
Ayyyy, that's my main guitar. That guitar through a Rat is magic. My only issue with it is the fretboard wood feels super dry if you aren't playing in the moment
@@sethp8947 update on that, I played it for a while and it started to feel better, then I conditioned it and it felt like new......meaning all the work I put into playing it and getting it to feel right went to shit after conditioning, it was super disappointing
@@sethp8947 it was some kind of Dunlop fretboard conditioner, but I guess the composite fretboard didn't like it. It ended up becoming a parts guitar for a little bit, then I tried putting the neck from my first guitar on it, and when I went to adjust the replaced neck, the truss rod snapped, so I just gave up.
I JUST bought one of these, in late January. It's my instant favorite (I mean, I like it better than my one other guitar). Easy to play. Tuning stability and sustain aren't great (in my case) but I love the neck and fingerboard.
I have a Fendere Nashville Deluxe Tele and I have no clue what color it is. I think is supposed to be Fiesta red but it is somewhere between tan and red. Much darker than any Fiesta red I have seen and I have never seen a guitar this color or close. I actually was considering buying one of these until I watched this video. It's a fine guitar that buzzes and the varitone wheel fell into the guitar. lol
@@chancemiller9340 its a 25.5". and i think its a 12 radius, it feels large, like an sg. i couldnt find this information anywhere either... anyway, its really comfortable.
I have both.i will tell you based on my experience the bridge is better on the tagima due to the fact that it's the strat style.those tuners suck ass I really hate the split open ones it's just a pain to string up.they are both nice guitars although tagima is a bit more budget friendly

As always it was great hanging out with you at the show. I hope to see you again soon.

Around 4:21 I spotted a cheeky bit of Nirvana (All Apologies). I mean who can resist playing a little grunge on an offset!

Do you know the Fretboard Radius? And the Scale Length? Thanks
@@chancemiller9340 scale is 25,5". Neck radius some are 9,5"...some are 12".
I had one too, but in the off-white color. It's pretty nice sound and design.
Tagima is one of the greatest guitar brands in Brazil. Is good to see them gaining space in the US

@Elegant Toilet makes sense. Too bad the the varitone seems to have some issues. Thanks for the info!

Existem dois modelos. O mais antigo é da forma que você citou. A que ele toca é mais recente e já tem aqui no br

Chance Miller radius is 9.5 and length is 25.5
I have this identical guitar and it plays great and I love the varitone. It's fast becoming my go to guitar.
Phil sharpened that axe in 2 seconds! Legend! ;)
"Don't forget to wash your hands...!" The 'rona was definitely already circulating at this NAMM...
The 'rona 🤣
What a nice guy from Tagima.
I love this guitar sound, and really...

See if you can get Phil to hook you up with one of those since he seems to be in tight with the Tagima Prez...

You sure you are not Vivian STANSHALL'S son? Haha
Great video, as usual.
Death cab for cutie.
I would love one of these with mini humbuckers
Looks exactly like a Revelation RJT 60. Probably from the same factory and sold under different names
Phil stopping by gets an auto-thumb up before even finishing the video.
I'm from brazil and I've been looking for to buy an Tagima Stella.... they seem really nice....
Great Doom metal guitar ....oh wait 🔥👁️🔥
Does any Tagima owners or dealers have an accurate measurement on the fretboard radius? I've heard everything from 9.5" to 16."
I have one. Definitely its not 9,5". Its something next to 16"
Love this guitar but I think it will look way better with a white/mint pickgard, it's a shame these are custom pickgards
Possibly the best you can get for the price.
These are sold much cheaper here in Brazil
Are they made in Brazil? What is the US dollar price? (roughly) Obrigado
@@chancemiller9340 Now I'd say you can get one for around $180-$200

what's the scale length on these jobbies
25 1/2

Yup
I have one of these in this color.
you can get a Squier Jazz for the same..
Tagima is by far superior, specially the tuners
@@martinpinzon5349 I'm thinking to buy a Tagima soon... But why did you say it's superior?
Ive played bolth Squire and Tagima, Tagima looks and feels more expensive than thd Squire.

Waw, testing a brasilian guittar :)))
