    Great work! For users, but I would set the default riser at 7.5 inches. 7.75 is the max and if someone screwed up and paid no attention to this, they would end up getting turned down because you are going from the subfloor and not finish floor. The code allows minor variations between top and bottom risers but it does not allow going over 7 3/4" for residential stairs. I have had to tear out multiple stairs over the past 45 years that were built by inexperienced framers so planning is key but you have to plan correctly :)

      Max riser height is set by default to 7.75" however you can set this max. height to a lower value if desired.

      @@medeekdesign My comment was for those new to the extension and new to framing. If someone is new to the subject, they may not be aware of building code requirements. I would recommend lowering the default as the extension is installed so new users don't make mistakes inadvertently. Thanks!

      There is a handrail option already, however it is not continuous over the landings, yet.
