Former Ailey company member Christopher L. Huggins makes his first contribution to the Ailey repertory with a new piece set to music by Moby and Sean Clements. Huggins is acclaimed for crowd-pleasing dances that rev up dancers and audiences alike with high-speed movement, unexpected patterns and kinetically charged gestures. I _LOVED_ 00:56 to 1:06!! But I’ve got to have some kind of tonal music at least part of the time. Maybe it’s bc I’m headachy today, but a little bongo-banging goes a long way for me....I get tired of it quickly. The dancers always amaze me, though, bc they don’t need to count as they fly!! Just stupendous dancers and dancing!!
