Day 62: I resolved to explore towards the northeast today, roughly 5 kilometers beyond my recent furthest distance from the crash site and discovered three seemingly derelict walker-type constructs in a forest clearing. They appear fairly old, indicated by the overgrowth spread throughout their hulls, and possibly devoid of life, but there must be some latent power source within because the exterior lights still function across all three colossi. I dared not get too close for fear of attracting unwanted hostility. Perhaps in the coming days I'll muster enough courage to go back and see if they remain unmoved. Then maybe I can salvage a power source to charge the distress beacon on my escape pod. The perpetual rain is wearing on my nerves. . .
@@aidanseys852 Day 64: The rain hasn't ceased since the landing. I can't tell if it's simply a feature of the region or some kind of phenomena. The sky is always cloudy and thick with moisture. Night lasts roughly 16 hours with 5 to 6 hours of daylight in between; Perhaps this hemisphere's winter season? Some kind of 4-legged animal wandered near camp today. I killed it before I had a chance to learn if it was potentially dangerous. It looks something akin to a deer on Earth. My food stores are more than half depleted, but I'm in no rush to learn how palatable the local fauna is. I'll have to venture back to the colossi again soon so I can get out of here. This damn rain. . .

"You mean... those things used to move?" I nodded, the movement shaking some rainwater off of my hat. "The military called them 'assault walkers'. They were the first things to come from the Landings, enormous, unstoppable. All our weapons meant nothing against them; they even withstood a point-blank nuclear blast. Everywhere they went, they used their strange warp cannons to destroy, to kill, to clear the way to build factories to make more assault walkers. In only a few months, humanity was on its back foot, two-thirds of our species dead, entire continents converted into alien industrial plants. And then, one day... they stopped." The kid gazed up at me in wonder. "They just... stopped? Why?" "Nobody knows. We can't get inside any of their constructs to see what made them tick, if there was even anything alive controlling them. We just know that one day, at the same exact moment all across the planet, every last one of them stopped what it was doing and froze in place." I shrugged. "Maybe something killed their masters. Maybe they lost connection with an overseer. Maybe some alien somewhere had a change of heart and pulled a switch. Maybe it was just an act of God. But it's been twenty years, and they haven't moved since." "Wow. I really hope they don't ever move again." I nodded again. "You and me both, kid."
Shame on me as I forgot to add a thank you, ive listented to this at least a dozen times awake and on repeat quite a few nights while sleeping. Words wont quite do it justice, but it is definitely something I would share with anyone interested in what the genre is capable of 🙌🙌🙌
Day 27, it's been a while since I had seen someone, but it's not about me seeing anyone, but dam, my legs won't stop hurting. i tried any kind of meds, i had , and nothing worked. But sometimes it feels like I'm being watched, and it's been a while since I seen those things...day 60 my legs had been thru some changes late and my body to weird and scary it seems like I have built some pain tolerance like i have some kind of a immune to pain i stab myself and the wound have healed by itself so i don't know if this is a curse or.......a blessing
The boy stands on the rooftop and surveys the last remnants of the world he once grew up in watching it get destroyed to a pile of ash, caused by human greed. Yet he felt a strange sense of satisfaction as he realized that mortal suffering was financially put to an end. Humans were irrational creatures that relied on emotions...the boy realized it was the dawn of a new age as the orange dust filled sky proved to be a testament to his thoughts...an age where feelings and emotions were the thing of the past...an age where he could finally become one with them...he truly was no different than them after all...for he was born without a heart...
A mere physical description falls completely short when it comes to these... ugh... the words we need to talk about them were never invented or don't exist anymore. History has become a blurry mess since the war exposed the twisted and remorseless minds that sparked it in the first place. Written language is in grave danger since we no longer have the means to create more. It's impossible to know anything about these things. All we can say is that they've been motionless for years. I was an atheist all my life, and that war did nothing but reaffirm my belief that there are no gods out there. But then I first saw these things standing near our hometown, and what's worse, their survivors, during the brief moments their madness allow them, just won't stop sobbing and mumbling about what they did when they could move. That's when my worldview changed forever. Now every night, before I fall asleep, I pray to anyone who might exist for those horrors to stay motionless for all eternity, or at least, that I'll never live to see them come back to life.

Oh, I so adore this video. I love the intense creepiness of it.

Damn, men of culture up in here. I own that album 🤝
One of the best you have made. Thank you.
These look like massive versions of Imperial probe droids from SW:ESB. Very cool images
I like to imagine them as long forgotten man-made constructs in the far, distant future now abandoned to the elements on some distant planet
I love your stuff ❤
Spooky
Very cool!
You are our master ...in this !!!Really nice

Another winner, in part because a machine like that can't have just three legs, can it?
Hi, I would really like to know what tools you use to create images on the background, if it is AI, could you write an approximate promt ?
It's should be called "The Others"
"The Forbidden Zone"
Alright, so. People who use this kind of music to fall asleep. …how loud do you have it?
Pretty minimal, I get overstimulated easy lol
quite low, I luckily live in a quiet area
Just above the warning limit on my phone...I live in Florida.
On my Samsung at 40%…. On my iPhone 25%
