Thanks for this! I have a zip file since 2021 with password and forget the password. I got the files now with this tips, but I do the crack in ubuntu and worked, just compiled the john.
You can use the word list called rockyou which is built in, in the Kali Linux, you just have to mention the rockyou wordlist whenever you bypass the password(using hydra or Jhon the ripper)👍

cd Desktop
ls
zip2john Zipfilename.zip > Zipfilename.txt
cat Zipfilename.txt
john Zipfilename.txt
