I've been subscribed for around 2 years and I still love seeing the thumbnails of your new videos come up on the feed👌🏻 Really nice vibe, love how close you are to the viewers
This film is right up your alley. I like the photos of the carnival. The 2 of the car with the orange tone and my favorite. The woman holding the icecream cone where the cone and sprinkles are in focus. If you ever do an art show include the icecream one I mentioned. This film seems to render colors well with some punch.
Yeah -- the grain in the more distant/mid-tones (sky/clouds) is a like a nice hot bowl of oatmeal! But on the nearer subjects and more solid colors it is less noticeable. What fair was that? You must get up at the crack of dawn to visit fairs/carnivals that are almost empty! Yummmmm -- "Donuts Are The Bun"!!! Thanks for taking us along -- as always, your content is as enjoyable as the various films and gear that you try out.... Cheers!
The peeling clearcoat on that Dodge pickup has clearly been 'sun-kissed' this really isn't too bad of a film - closer to 'normal' than some of the non-Kodak / Fuji color films that we've seen. Neat batch of photos Dave!
Thanks for reviewing that one. Got it too, but haven’t shot it yet, due to the much too hot summer here in Japan. Looking at your images, I would probably not use it for portraits, but I love the shots at the fun fair. This film seems to love sunlight.
The two shots of the 57 chevy look like press photos from the 50s - the colour palette works so well on those images (and the TV, radio on shoes images), it's not bad for portraits either. Nice work.
I love both 92 and sun kissed. Both films are so wonderful, probably my favorite releases from them in quite a while. Dude your portrait work has been locked in lately, great shit
Thanks for sharing and well put together! Looks like the weather is looking great in North America! I got to pick up this roll at some time and shoot again! Keep doing what you are doing. :)
l always look forward to your Sunday night reviews and you really know how to get the best out of the various Lomography films. This time i think you nailed the portraits, everyone had a nice healthy glow that isnt present with the purple, turquoise and metropolis variations which are more suited to unique street and landscape photography. You also highlighted the crunchy grain structure that to me gives a nostalgic 70s vibe to your photos
I think that it's a little bit ironic that I watched a review of '92 after coming back from a trip where I saw the original(?) on a shelf at a store, but didn't buy it. Anyways, I would say that it doesn't look like it's really my style, but I still want to shoot portraits with it now nevertheless because of how it renders skin tones.
"Fine grain structure" yeah okay. The grain looks beautiful on this, so they probably should lean more into that aspect of advertising, rather than tell people it has fine grain.
It appears that the degree to which this film tends to emphasise yellow and orange, depends very much on the ambient light temp. A very reputable German channel tested the film using an Olympus RD and a Hasselblad SWC and the results were cool to neutral, but the film was shot under an overcast sky. Interesting film nevertheless. Just hope that this is not yet another one of those flash in the pan ' limited edition ' films meaning once the master roll has gone, the film has also gone for good.Thank you.
Great photos, as always. My first roll of this was not stellar but I chose the wrong camera. And, I think the wrong ISO setting. 320 you say? I'm game!
How do you think this compares to Harmon Phoenix? I think i see a very similar high contest look, but not having shot either this or Phoenix.... Oh wait you literally as I typing mentioned this in the video lol. Awesome.

Thanks - I really appreciate it
Im so happy you picked up 92!!
Me too!

Thanks - This was the Ohio State Fair - I got there about 10:30 and the Midway didn’t open until Noon.

I agree, it is made for sunlight

Thanks Andy - the vintage Chevy, TV, radio and shoes are all inside the Ohio History Center, a very cool place.
Digging sun kissed a lot!
Yeah, it’s good stuff man!
I love both 92 and sun kissed. Both films are so wonderful, probably my favorite releases from them in quite a while. Dude your portrait work has been locked in lately, great shit
Thanks man - been putting in a lot of portrait reps at photowalks lately. Yeah, I liked this film more than I expected.

Thanks James!
I may grab a roll in 35mm. My wife wants to go to the Wool Gathering in Yellow Springs in September. It might be a great opportunity to try it out!

Thank You. I do think this film works better for portraits than the other Lomochrome flavors.
Interesting
Looks like something I would want to try at least one roll of!
I think it is worth trying at least once
Whoa! Sun-kissed indeed. Loving all that warmth.
Yeah, I really like this color palette too!

It can definitely add something a little different to portraits. Thanks for watching.

Reminds me of Metropolis a little bit
Another one of my favorite films
Looks like a nice film, Dave! The orange cast is more noticeable in lower light! Great video 🎉
Thanks Anthony!
Groovy music!
Right on!
Your videography also got an update. Like both, film and video
Thank You

I’ll have to check it out for myself…both in 35mm and 110mm.
It’s a fun film for sure Lang!

Thanks - I was pretty happy with 320 overall

I definitely like the higher dynamic range of this one - much more forgiving in mixed lighting
Seems a nice film, good to k ow to rate it 320
Yeah, they look like my childhood pictures. High contrast and never the right color.
