Man, this is such a good production quality. I wish the scene would grow so much, it could really become an e-sport, because AoM is so fun to watch with all the interesting myth units, heroes and god powers. These all create natural highpoints, along with age-ups, to which the audience can look forward to and the game is never boring this way.
AOM has a very weak foundation to become a E-Sport. Some god power are super broken with little to no counter play, units design is not streamlined so it's hard to grasp which unit counters what. It's definitely fun to watch but in terms of E-Sport AOE4 is Miles ahead of AOM.
@@erth8096it's very easy to understand which units counter which, in fact it's basically the same as in AoE2, just with a bit of added layers (like counter infantry infantry and hero-myth-human) I'm not sure which god powers are uncounterable, meteor and earthquake come to mind as the worst ones, but there is absolutely counterplay against them
AoE2 civs share the exact same units with some extra special units. What makes the civs different are the civ bonuses and tech trees. AoM has completely different units, gods that add different units, and god powers. It is super fun to play and watch but unless you know what is going on, it is difficult to follow.
Brutal final game. Not sure how you're supposed to take those kind of fights against atlantean as norse. Pure raiding cavalry and go for a surround around the turma maybe?

I'd love to see some water maps and/or some Nomad in AoM!
