    What gas are you using an how are you sharpening your tungsten an is your metal free from contaminates tig needs everything to be just so to make a good weld

      I'm using pure argon, at the 43 second mark you'll see me using my bench grinder for sharpening, and I've been using lacquer thinner to clean my parts before wirebrushing

      @@Neally a quick an easy way to sharpen your tungsten on the bench grinder is put it in your drill sharpen them in seconds the reason I ask all the questions is you have sparks coming off which isn’t great an you have what looks to be porosity how much gas do you have flowing could you have any leaks or is there any drafts or wind that could be blowing your gas away as I don’t think all your issues are because your a newbie

      I think the contamination may have come from the tungsten, but I'll check for leaks before I record for next weeks video! Thanks!

      @@matthewbetts1985 lanthanated 1/16, but I definitely dipped it at a couple points and that's likely where the contamination came from
