    Great job my friend!
    Some questions for you:
    1) does the tablet switch on when you start car engine?
    If yes, did you root the device and use some app to do that?
    2) is necessary to use an inverter to power the tab continuously?
    3) ob2 recognize fuel and water level in your dash?
    Reply me, I'm doing the same work in my car

    • @RezyNWorX
      @RezyNWorX  2 года назад +4

      thanks, its in sleep mode then I have an app but I dont remember the name that opens up the app when it gets 12v when the key is on.
      the tablet is plugged into a car plug, like the same way you would charge a phone in your car.
      it doesn't recognize fuel but you can input the engine size and gas mileage and give you a rough idea. doesnt do water level.

    Wow man thats awesome im doing a 1950 hudson ls1 swap, and was going to do a tablet style guages for this vehicle, u did a great job. Im more than likely to pay $8 for 1 of their premium setups, how do u like it so far? And is there a way to hard wire USB to the obd2?

    I have a 91 Volvo 240.
    Can you recommend tablet as well as software and how you calibrated speed/gas/temp to the tablet?

    • @RezyNWorX
      @RezyNWorX  3 года назад

      I just bought a cheap 100 dollar tablet with updated Android software. As for the speed I think it uses GPS. The temp it connects through the Bluetooth obd2 connection. I think obd1 was introduced in 91 and I'm not sure if your vehicle is compatible. My gas Gauge is estimated by the info I put in to the app. I do know that it's compatible with aftermarket ecu's and able to be programmed.

    • @mperdue12
      @mperdue12 3 года назад +1

      The software is RealDash and will take a ODB2 adapter to function. Most of the adapters I researched don't support cars later than 1996. I just made the cutoff with an 1999 F150. Please be aware there are several adapters that say they will work with any car but when you read the fine print it turns out to be not true. Make sure you buy it from someone with a good return policy.

    • @RezyNWorX
      @RezyNWorX  3 года назад +1

      the gas reading is done by typing you're mpg and size tank. it doesn't show you what your level is unless you have a compatible aftermarket ECU that can be programed.
