Great playing and demo. Does it have a solid drive? I assume it's a computer running the software in there, I have analogue lab on my PC, it can get a bit heavy when using 2 sounds together like a grand piano and Jupiter something like that.
Hi, thank you very much for the compliments. No, I think the memory is flash (approximately 22.5 GB). The plugins that run inside have been rewritten from scratch exclusively for Astrolab, which I assume is a Linux-based embedded system.
4:00 is the kick drum coming from the keyboard or did you add this elsewhere? I'm trying to figure out if this instrument is like a workstation and you can build full tracks with it, or if it's more of a stage piano meets synthesizer type vibe. Thanks for the vid!
Yes, the Kick comes from Astrolab, which is not a workstation but more of a multisynthesizer based on Analog Lab V. Thank you for the comment and for watching the video :)
Mine will be here on Saturday. Arturia plugins are essential for my production. I'm just hoping that they're go to be able to add a sequencer, via firmware, preferably with 8+ tracks. I'm also hoping for a sampler, that has chopping capabilities. If they added these two things, this would be a great workstation.
Let's hope so. But we're only at the beginning :) so anything is possible

Yes, but with various additional functions such as the smooth transition between patches, now indispensable in a live environment, a vocoder with integrated microphone inputs, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection, etc.

I know well analoge lab and all v colections ,the sounds are very bad when playing live , lets see how the live players will react after 6 mounth , how it sound threugh a PA ,
what about acusstics sounds? Flute ,accordions ,violin, ect
Great step by Arturia but do they have the expiriencce to make a work station?
Whether the V collection sounds good or bad in my opinion depends on your programming skills and the converters you use. Personally, I have been using it live for years and have always been more than satisfied with it. Regarding the second part of the comment I would like to say that Astrolab is not a workstation.
Please don't make me fall in love with this thing! I don't need a synth... is what my bank account keeps telling me!
