And I took a lot of grief for my comment, but here it is again ---- so let me have it or shut up, I don't care because I am not watching any more of these. I can get past the 'working in the dirt'. Other than the probable inferior/dirt crusted product they are turning out, it does not bother me at all. BUT:
The sheet metal arc welding. He has NO eye protection. No goggles, no mask, no shield. This guy is burning his eyes out. He WILL be blind if he continues --- and no one seems to care. I get it --- there is money to be made and if people are willing to give up their lives why should the employer waste a few dollars when they can just hire someone else when 'Joe' can't work anymore. Very Sad! People DO matter. For anyone that watched 70's movies --- Soylent Green --- when will we get to the place where we grind up and eat excess people --- maybe some places are there now! (btw: Soylent Green was released in 1973 ----- and took place in ------- 2022) Maybe the theme is a little too close for comfort.

I can't understand how people can live like this, all dirt on the street, no safety shoes, everything by hand. Why don't you want to be surprised, wait for someone to do it like always.

I'm wondering if they stand back at the end of the shift and say "well, we nailed this fuel pump" . The steelwork is fine but the terrible wrap job kinda ruins it.
