Passing train overdub seemed appropriate for Howie Long & Bruce Smith lol. I don't know about those fake blings bracketing the name bar, but a nice card. Card back has a nice layout, and the cutting/centering seem well above average for the timeframe. Nice thick matte stock perfect for autographs, like you mentioned. New fan~!

I appreciate the artistic representation of the Vince Lombardi trophy for the name/title bar, but c'mon, fake blingies?

I didn’t know the train could be heard in the background but I guess the timing worked out well. These are definitely great cards for autographs - the card stock and the brightness of the backgrounds should get the ink to stand out.

I’m gonna be calling them blingies from now on! And now every time I look at a card from this set, my attention is gonna go to the blingies first.

    Just a few random thoughts...
My Mom was in an English class with Phil Simms at Morehead in 1978.
Tom Tupa was the 1st man to score a 2 point conversion.
Going through these packs is like going through the team rosters of Tecmo Super Bowl.

That’s an awesome story about being in English class with Phil Simms! I’m a Giants fan so he was my guy growing up. And yes, these packs are like a Tecmo Super Bowl reunion.
