    Nice detailed information. U didn't mention the necessity of German language to live and work in Germany?

    • @engosellumpathai
      @engosellumpathai  Год назад

      To work in Germany, it's not necessarily required to have German knowledge. There are a lot of international companies in Germany whose business language is English so you'll be able to get by just fine without German knowledge.
      If you're living in a big city, you don't need German for non work related activities as well. But it will not be possible to fully integrate into Germany and feel at home here if you don't know German.
      So my suggestion is that if you have the opportunity to learn German while in India you should definitely do it, but if you don't have such an opportunity, do not let that stop you from moving to Germany. The language can always be learnt later on. This is what I am currently doing.

    • @engosellumpathai
      @engosellumpathai  Год назад

      If you're going to be working on the shop floor you will very likely need atleast b2 level German. Learn the language and simultaneously look for jobs. It might be beneficial if you get a job seeker visa and come to Germany and search for jobs directly as these jobs mostly require in person interviews.

    Bro need to send monthly monthly more money to India after all expenditure and expenses .which country is best for that. Everyone is going to US,Canada but getting PR is bit difficult there nowa days and safety and employee care is a question over there.
    suggest any other countries where employees are taken care like countries such as Netherland,Germany,Denmark.
    I am a software developer.

    • @engosellumpathai
      @engosellumpathai  Год назад

      European countries do not pay as high as us or Canada. In addition they have high taxes so you'll likely only get 55-65% of your salary in hand. In general none of these countries is a good destination to move if you want to save a lot of money and send back to India.
      Of these the Netherlands might be the best option because for the first 5 years you are only taxed on 80% of your income. So you end up saving a substantial amount for the first five years. However after that, the taxes spike sharply and you will no longer be able to save much.
      If your goal is to save money - wait and find a way to get to the US or Canada. Europe is not the right destination.

    Hi brother, very useful video. Is it possible for a person who doesn’t have a degree but has around 11 years working experience in the Metro/Railway Industry to find a job in Germany? Also to accommodate a family (Wife + kid)?

    • @engosellumpathai
      @engosellumpathai  Год назад

      If you have a degree and are in an engineering role it may be possible. But without a degree you will be looking at blue collar roles which require licensing or an ausbildung at the minimum. Generally there is heavy competition for such roles from eastern European countries and these people are preferentially hired over those from outside EU because they don't need visa sponsorship.
      Also the pay for such roles is not large enough to justify moving with family from India to Germany. Remember taxes are very high in Germany so your in hand amount will be quite low.

      @engosellumpathai  Год назад

      There are different types of consultants. Visa consultants help get visa for various countries. In Germany they cannot help you and will usually be scammers. Maximum they can do is help organize your documents and explain the visa process to you. Rest all you only have to do. Generally they charge hefty fee upfront and then they will run away and not answer you.
      Then there are recruitment consultants. These people only help you get a job. And they will never charge you. They get paid by the company for closing the position. These guys are generally safe to trust.
      General rule of thumb is: If any consultant asks for money from you they are probably trying to scam you.

      There are a lot of companies hiring recruiters part time or under contract basis as freelancers. Unfortunately not many companies are looking to hire in house recruiters at the time because of the recession. If you're coming here on dependant visa then you won't have trouble finding job as recruiter but I'm not sure if companies are going to be sponsoring your move here.

    • @engosellumpathai

      @@ArunRaj-vi2ns Depending on what your salary is, you may or may not qualify for a Blue Card. Unless you qualify for a Blue Card you need A1 level German at the time of visa interview. This is what is mandatory.
      Apart from this, you are a recruiter, and you will probably be spending a large time of your working time talking to others. In Germany most of the people you are going to be talking to are Germans - so yes being able to speak German conversationally will be a huge value addition.
      It is also necessary to speak the language to integrate into German society. Or you will always feel like a stranger not understanding what is happening around you. Shorta sollanumna - Without German you can definitely survive in Germany, but if you want to do more than just survive, you eventually have to learn German.

      System admin is not highly in demand, especially now with the recession. This is also a role that might benefit from German knowledge. So my suggestion is, German kathukitte Indiala irunthe job search try pannunga. Don't come on job seeker visa, you might end up wasting your entire 6 months trying to get interviews.

      Depends entirely on the course and university you apply for. Each university will list courses and the prerequisites for each course on their website. Have a look and if it matches apply. Highly likely you will easily get admits.

      I don't know of anyone in my personal circle who has come through consultants. Most came through job or study visa. I do know a few people who were scammed by consultants, they were told they'll get mechanical engineering job in Germany, then they were taken to Poland and given a 'temporary' job in garages and are being paid below minimum wage and forced to work there with no way to escape for past 7 months.

    nowadays Germany giving asylums? for those arriving via airports ?? from srilanka brother

    • @engosellumpathai
      @engosellumpathai  Год назад

      You can only apply for asylum if Germany is the first EU country you reach. So if you want to arrive via airport you need to have a direct flight from Sri Lanka to Germany. Even if you do get such a flight airline will not let you board without a valid visa. You can only apply for asylum after arriving, so you could perhaps get a tourist visa and come here and apply for asylum, but not sure how successful you will be. Sorry I don't know much about asylum process so can't help much.

      @@gnanasuntharamprakash884 You can goto the immigration desk like how you would normally go at your destination country, and tell the immigration officer when you hand the passport over that you would like to apply for asylum. I think you will be taken to a refugee center while they decide on your case (can take 2-3 years), but I don't have much details, so please research thoroughly before doing this.
